Started a little ruff. But the room was clean and breakfast was great. The staff was all very friendly. There is a new policy that everyone who stays at the hotel pays a holding fee for room damage which has a 1 day return after your stay. Notes in the booking could be helpful.

THERE IS NO ELEVATOR. Was travelling with my 75 year old mother - at check in, we had to move her to a bottom floor room and there was only one available, so we couldn't be next to her. The room she was put in was smelly because of being close to the 'breakfast' area, and the flooring was sticky. Staff had to keep saying, "It's just me - we're short staffed - so you'll have to be patient." The walls are thin, and easy to hear through. The laundry room ate $1 when I tried to get soap from the vending machine - and I wasn't able to get soap or my dollar back right away....so of course I forgot to ask them to do it later. Breakfast was not edible. High sugar yoplait, poor fruit, poor excuse for bread, greasy meats, etc. I know hotel food is generally nothing to be happy about, but this was bottom quality. Staff did try to be helpful, and they were kind. This review is no reflection on the staff - just the owner/management of the place. If I were staying in the area again, I would try to find another place.

Property is three stories with no stairs. Recovering from ACL surgery and had no advanced notice of this. Beds very uncomfortable and buzzing noise in room all night. Bathroom fan ridiculously loud. Inside of the room door was filthy. Area not great. Had to leave at 2 am on my first of two nights and get another hotel. Front desk staff called manager who said she would call me in the morning at 8 am. No call and denied my refund request through *******. Don't waste your money. Stay at the Hampton Inn instead.

I stayed 5 days, 4 nights. Room 304. No elevator which I knew in advance. That’s okay as it gave me the exercise that I needed. lol! I slept like a baby. It was so quiet! The room was better than I thought it was going to be. Some reviews made the place seem horrible. I’m used to the Marriott/Sheraton but this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean, updated and had piping hot water (the shower). It didn’t smell of smoke like others claimed. The price was very reasonable which included breakfast daily. Danish, toast, waffles, home fries, yogurt, eggs, sausage, coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Can’t beat it for the price. The staff was friendly, it was close to many restaurants. Overall, a great place for a reasonable price! Don’t always look at the bad reviews. People complain about everything these days! Thanks for the nice stay!

We had a quick stay over for medical procedure near-by. We had a king suite. Adequately supplied for a nights stay.
We are very pleased with the hotel. The cleanliness was on point. The bed was a box springs, pillowtop, and very comfortable. The reason i gave 4 stars to cleanilness is because there was that smell of old embedded cigarettes in our room and had breathing issues due to it. Maybe time to repaint with an oder blocking primer or use better filtration in your air systems.
Other than that we liked our room and would consider staying here again. Also, it isnt always clear when booking, they do not have an elevator, so using stairs is tricky for some.

I don't believe there is an elevator for this property. The hallways very close quarters and somewhat dated. The door to our room had gaps so light came in from the hallway. And if someone was talking in the hallway you could easily hear their conversation. But not a lot of foot traffic at night so not a big issue for me. The windows did shut out a lot of the traffic noise. But you couldn't open it for fresh air because you are very close to a busy street. You are also within walking distance to a Safeway, Safeway gas station, Burger King and a Starbucks to name a few. The room was very clean but the bathroom caulking around the tub was peeling up. Had no issues with parking. We were on the second floor. Bed was a traditional box spring. Hotel provided soap and shampoo and conditioner and lotion. All rooms are located inside the building, no outside entry to your room. Check out was easy. Only issue I had was figuring out how the AC worked. The unit said on, but the thermostat didn't kick on even when the temperature was lowered. It was cool enough the first night, second night I am unsure how I got the AC to work but I did.

We walked in and immediately walked out and booked a hotel across the street. The front desk person was rude, the inside lobby was dirty, the hotel room smelt like an ash tray even though it says it’s a smoke free room. We booked our room 2 hours before we showed up and since they said we didn’t cancel within 48 hours we had to pay for the night because it inconveniences them to set the room aside. Which is fine, but they only had to hold the room for 2 hours and there were still plenty of other rooms available so basically they just wanted money for nothing. We went across the street to the Oxford suites and they said that this happens all the time people coming over immediately after seeing the hotel.
