DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC Silver Spring

They gave us two cookies upon check-in, which were quite tasty. The hotel was no different from the ones I stayed at before that cost 700-800 yuan, so this one at over 1100 yuan was a bit pricey. Luckily, parking was free at the end. The air conditioner was the old-fashioned kind near the window, very noisy, and the vents were dirty and unsightly.

I came to attend the World Bank Annual Meeting. The price of a four-star hotel in downtown Washington soared to $700 per night, so I chose to stay in Silver Spring. I didn't expect it to be so convenient here. It's very close to large shopping malls and outlets, and the hotel facilities are very good, and the breakfast is excellent.

I felt very bad. The front desk gave me a room card, but I couldn't open the door twice before I made a new card. When I opened it, there were already guests inside. After I changed rooms, another guest opened the door of my room. There was not even a curtain at the shower.
