Holiday Inn Express WASHINGTON DC N-SILVER SPRING by IHG

Pretty nice experience. Huge selection for complimentary breakfast. Rooms were clean. I left some belongings behind and they held it for me so I was able to retrieve them quickly.

Room was clean staff very friendly but it was very noisy due to people in the halls, we checked in & left room only to check out people putting cigarettes out on the floor in the back of lobby approached by people who didn’t seem to be staying in hotel. Thank you to registration staff & security for stopping this & respecting privacy!

It would be 5 stars across the board if they were all done with renovations, but the room was nice, the staff was fantastic the breakfast was good, the coffee machines were always ready to go. It was in a walkable area. About a half mile from the metro station and had a bus stop right in front of the building.

The hotel was pretty average... Very limited parking, which you also have to pay for ($20 a day). Staff was super friendly! Once the hotel finishes renovations, I'm sure it will be a lot nicer.

The gym did not have enough equipment and the equipment that they had was faulty and did not work the treadmill was too loud and clunked the left foot part of the elliptical was shotty. My original room 3 20 had standing water in the tub the bathroom was dirty I was supposed to have two queen rooms for the night however I ended up having to move because I had one Queen room and then one king room they must have oversold the double Queens I will say that Rome was fantastic and helping to organize it but it's still involved having to pack up six people's worth of stuff and bringing it down which was not helpful also breakfast could use some more gluten-free stuff the staff member there was a sweet young lady but I don't know if she understood what I was saying

Staff is trying hard to make this a comfortable and relaxing venue. And the renovation works they are doing did not disrupt our stay. The facility needs updating, but overall it was a good visit
