Memorable place visit. Pool facilities and the rooms occupied were really good. Meals were tasty. Specially the welcome drink served was really delicious. View also good. Calm and quiet place yo visit. Specially good place for honeymoon couples

Best bar man we have encountered so far in Sri Lanka. Pasindu made my partner a Mojito which was fabulous whilst chatting to us with intelligent conversation and a smile. We tried to offer him a bar job in Wales, but the commute was too far! Would recommend this lovely hotel to all my friends great location and excellent service and facilities. The staff and management could not have been more welcoming.

There is so much to like at the camellia spa, a few small tweaks and some TLC would take good to great 😊 The grounds and pool area are very pretty and well maintained with trees and shrubs creating secluded paths and shade. The pool is clean and well tended, there are pool towels and cushions for the loungers. It gets very busy late afternoon but is barely used in the day. The rooms are large with a fridge and air con, kettle everything works well but very limited drinks selection no herbal teas etc Beds and pillows comfortable, you will need to ask for blankets of you need them. The restaurant area is a little dull and uninspiring, as is the bar although they do a good selection of well priced cocktails. It can also be hard to get a seat and the seating is not especially comfortable or set up for intimate talking. The restaurant food is ok, they have varied well priced buffet in the evening for 16 dollars but beware it can get busy so it feels like a canteen rather than a relaxing evening meal. Breakfast also ok, breads, fruit cake, egg chef and of course curries. All staff are polite and welcoming, helping to arrange trips etc Return trip by tuk tuk to Sigiriya 4,500 +entrance Return trip by tuk tuk to dambulla and fruit market 4,500 + entrance Elephant safari 5,000 Overall this was a great base to experience the cultural triangle but if you are looking for more from a hotel it may not be for you. There is absolutely nothing in walking distance of the hotel so you are tied to it for food/ drink even water. Having said this, prices are not unreasonable and you will likely be tired from the trips and heat and only too happy to eat from the buffet and flop into a nice comfy bed

The hotel is calm and quiet environment. We love breakfast and dinner buffet... Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. I hope to visit this hotel again. Definitely I love to recommend this hotel. Good hotel hotel good staff, nice ambience..

Room oké, but there was no decoration. Bed was large and perfect. Bathroom oké with large shower. Swimming pool not used because of heavy rainfall. Restaurant very large and a bit dark. Buffet perfect with show cooking. Breakfast ok. Very calm. Friendly staff.

We stayed for 2 Nights at Camelia Resort & Spa in Feb 2024. This Resort is between Dambulla & Habarana. The resort is off the main road to Habarana, the last stretch of resort around 800 meters is not paved. The resort is well maintained with good landscaping. The rooms are spread across in blocks with each block housing rooms in lower level & upper level. Each room has its own balcony with seating. The room is quite spacious with working table, moderately sized bathroom, decent Aircon. The lighting in the room is little dull however the windows throws good amount of natural light if you keep the window blinds open. The resort has a good swimming pool and also a Spa to pamper the guests. Their in house restaurant is next to the swimming pool with sufficient seating. The breakfast buffet is elaborate with Choice of Srilankan & Continental. Few items in the breakfast may feel repetitive if you are staying longer. Lunch & Dinner options tend to be Al Carte or Buffet depending on the occupancy at the resort. For Vegetarians the food options for Lunch or Dinner are limited but managable. The staff at the resort are accommodative and helpful with any request. Being surrounded by nature, you might have insects get in to your room if you keep the room door open. This is avoidable if caution is taken by keeping the room door & windows closed . The resort can be an ideal base to explore sites like Sigiriya , Dambulla & Polonnaruwa or visits to the National parks such as the Minneriya national park/ Kaudulla national park. Overall a resort to be considered for a relaxing and peaceful stay amidst nature while in Sigiriya or around.

A very nice place, so beautifull. All the members of hotel, especially Kasun and his group are so kind and helpfull, they made it a experience we could only dream off. A nice pool, very clean, the bar is great, the food is delicious, in a split second they are there to help

Camellia Resort is a beautiful oasis in upper/centre od Sri Lanka. It is has a good location to do daytrips in the area and/or stay for the longer period. Breakfast and dinner are generous and pool offers refreshing oporunity to relax. Rooms/houses are spacious and clean. The stuff is extremely nice and helpful.

We had a nice stay. Pool very clean. The buffet is great. The people are very polite and nice ! They speak English. The hotel was clean. Only very simple. You only have the strict necessary :) Almost no light in the rooms for example. Very good massages thank you!!
