This is my first time writing a bad review. The service is really bad. There is no wifi and no signal. I told the front desk many times but they always said they would repair it but they didn't. It delayed my important work.

At check-in, we discovered the owners were fellow Canadians, which immediately made us feel at home. Our room had a plunge pool and was just spectacular. We were originally supposed to stay one night, but within five minutes, I knew I needed to add a second night. The service was friendly from all the staff, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I really enjoyed chatting with them. The views were simply breathtaking, and the resort was close to everything we needed to do. How can I forget the food? The chef had some serious talent, and the service staff always had a smile. The presentation of the food was mind-blowing, making each meal a delightful experience. An extra special highlight was learning that an elephant visited the property last night, though I was fast asleep and missed it. Overall, Sigiriya Kings Resort provided an extraordinary stay, and I highly recommend it.

This place is a dream, the staff here are so friendly and accommodating. The scenery here is so beautiful and has amazing views of both Sigiriya rock and Pindurangala rock. The beautiful team also upgraded and decorated our room, with cake and champagne to celebrate my 40th birthday! Cannot wait to come back!

The best place to stay in sigiriya. Beautiful place. Great people and service. It has amazing views from the rooms. The restaurant offers good variety and quality of food. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. I would recommend this place hands down.

We had the most incredible experience at Sigiriya Kings Resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and ensured that every need was taken care of. The room was absolutely stunning—spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with modern amenities while still embracing the charm of the local culture. The resort's atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, providing the perfect escape. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, and their warm hospitality truly made our stay special. We also loved the delicious food, which was always fresh and flavorful. The resort's location is ideal for visiting Sigiriya Rock and other nearby attractions, making it easy to explore the area while enjoying a tranquil retreat at the end of the day. Was an experience we will never forget.. I honestly could say this is where we ate the best meals in Sri Lanka.. it’s a beautiful place, serene and peaceful. Would surely go back again. Owner and staff were exceptionally helpful, welcoming and friendly.

This is a lovely resort in a beautiful setting. The owners and staff are welcoming, polite and professional. Nothing is too much trouble to arrange. The food is excellent, and much of it grown on site. After we checked out, they even got in touch to say they owed us money...how often does that happen! Would totally recommend.

Our stay at Sigiriya King's Resort was the highlight of our trip. Nestled in nature, the resort offers direct views of Lion Rock and the adjacent Pidurangala Rock. Our bungalow-style room was comfortable, with a beautiful spacious bathroom and a reasonably priced minibar. We enjoyed ordering room service, and the food was consistently excellent. The staff, especially restaurant manager Samantha, were attentive and keen on making our stay enjoyable, even offering breakfast in a treehouse for a unique experience. The resort's proximity to wildlife and the option to go on an elephant safari made our stay truly unforgettable. While the tropical climate was hot, the experience was made all the more enjoyable by the friendly staff and the stunning natural surroundings. A highly recommended destination that we would love to revisit.
