Excellent hotel, real five-star hotel service grade, every detail is exquisite and upscale. Okay, not much to say. If you choose this home, it is absolutely right, you will be in the history record. Let's talk about the shortcomings. We went by car. We need to contact the hotel in advance. We will give you a GPS address and follow this navigation to reach the hotel. Hotel help parking is 45 euros a day, little expensive! Everything else is satisfactory!

We had a great stay at Villa Del Sole. Room was beautiful , comfortable and immaculate. Views were fantastic! Staff were very polite and attentive. Breakfast was very good and filling. Nice enclosed breakfast area with an optional open terrace. The hotel also cleaned some of our laundry for a reasonable fee. Great location in Siena. Wish we could have stayed longer.

It was a wonderful stay. Pros: * The rooms are very spacious and have beautiful views * Breakfast was good, plenty of options but till 10am on weekdays. And they really start taking away all the food at 10am. * Right in the center of the city, you can walk anywhere * They keep your suitcases after checkout. I asked them if I can come back for them later that day, and they were nice and kept them. Cons *No coffee machine in room. They do have a fridge though. *No iron in room but they do have an ironing room *No parking, but down the street there is free parking, a 8 min walk. I easily found a parking at 10.30pm

A very atmospheric hotel with a cool courtyard, very atmospheric stairs, and unexpected paintings on the walls) From our room you can see the fantastic Tuscan scenery and the wonderful sunset (No. 132). The room itself is very clean and the bathroom is also very clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well! The cool ”icon” above the bed, painted on the tiles Breakfast is great (various cuts, fruits, rolls, toast, jam, etc.) + custom-made coffee. This is not in-room coffee and croissant breakfast. The staff responded quickly and answered all questions without any problems. Summary: I would love to return to this hotel

There was free parking. The hotel was great, as well as the breakfast! It takes around 15mins to get to the city centre which is just nice, the view along the way is beautiful. Moreover, the outdoor bar has a stunning view of the city. So amazing!!! The hotel also has elevators to use.

Booked very last minute when our plans changed and we had a fantastic stay. Don't be put off by the outside of the hotel which is quite plain, the minute youstep inside it is light and bright and you will get a warm friendly welcome. Our room was very spacious, had everything we needed and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The air con had been on as it was a warm day so the room was a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was excellent and all of the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. It is a short walk to the old town and about 20 mins to the main piazza. I had hoped for hotel parking as we had a car full of stuff but this was full as we booked so late, so if you're booking ahead reserve in advance. As seasoned travelers thru Italy, we have stayed in different hotels. This small, renovated hotel was a pleasant surprise. Located at the edge of Siena within 7 minutes drive to Historical Siena, and easy access to highways to drive thru Tuscan towns, this was perfect. Hotel has exceptional staff who are are kind, polite and do everything to keep the guests feel at home.. Cleaness of this hotel was simply beyond and above our expectations. Breakfast was really good with fresh pastries, Pecorino cheese, Prouscheto, eggs, and fresh fruits. Planty of parking was available to hotel guests. We also want to praise a lady ( Comasia)at the front desk who sometimes would come and checked the things in breakfast room as well. Her attitude towards guests ,her mannerism and kindness was exceptional. We had a very enjoyable and positive experience.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I would call it laidback Tuscan luxury with impeccable service and food. The property is beautiful, and as another reviewer mentioned I loved how you were moved around the property for meals. You can effectively eat all day long with breakfast, lunch, snack/aperitif time and dinner. The staff works tirelessly. You see them first thing in the morning and again late at nights. The furnishings are not luxurious but rooms are spacious, closet space and bathrooms updated and vast and beds are comfortable. They have a shuttle that will take you into Sienna which is a huge perk if you don’t have a car like us. We came a day early, Michele arranged transport from Florence and were able to experience the Palio that night as it was rescheduled. It was magic! Michele was also a God send. I had a tooth get infected which was painful and scary and the hotel had a doctor there in two hours on a Saturday morning and I had my antibiotics that afternoon. Amazing!!! I also have to say the food was unbelievable. My daughter loved the Pici. They were super accommodating at dinner and would make her a plate (or really whatever she wanted). My husband is a vegetarian and again so accommodating…even the amuse bouche they provide was vegetarian. I would come back and stay a week, use this as home base in Tuscany and enjoy the relaxing countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities. We brought home some of their scivolosa olive oil to remember our stay in Tuscany here in California. Grazie Mille Certosa si Maggiano!!!!

Lovely modern hotel on the outskirts of Sienna . The restaurant and food service were good and the whole place was clean and fresh .Local buses stop right outside the hotel too .Ample parking too .Many thanks to all the hard working staff who made our three night stay a pleasure .
