Holiday Inn Shreveport Downtown

In my 2 day stay we had to switch rooms because the bathroom was not very clean or maybe it was because of the oldness of a hotel. The toilet stopped up after one use. The television sound was as if you were listening thru a transitor radio. The next rooms tv had no sound at all. I have stayed there before, less than a year ago and don't recall it being that run down. Oh and may I say the parking was tight.

Good hotel, friendly front desk associates,near all of the ******s, bed very comfortable.

Worst experience of our life we went on a family trip to Shreveport and as soon as we booked the hotel we were about 25 min max away. It was way past 4:30 and our room was still not ready. We tried canceling it so that we could go across the street and  immediately their attitude changed they became very Angry when we asked if we could cancel. When we got assigned to our room we got a single bed for two kids two adults and two older kids they lied and said we had eight people and it was only six of us we’ve done this many times gone to hotels where we ran out a suite and there is a bed and a couch and everybody sleeps perfectly fine. They claim we smell like ********* and we had 4 kids with us… his staff smell like ********* his hallway smell like ********* the hotel smelled old nasty and moldy. I went and asked if I could get corporate’s number and he yelled at me and said he was the owner a big big man sitting in the front acting like he’s the owner and saying he was not going to refund us and he was going to have us kicked out, mind you we lost $200.57 I third-party company couldn’t do anything for us in the hotel we’re not l refund us at all. He claimed we had eight kids and that we broke policy rules. We did not even get to stay the night. The hotel owner acted very rude I’ve worked at a Holiday Inn for years and never got treated this way. Dead roaches were in the suite that they booked us in. Front desk had nasty crumbs from food and bugs dead all over the place. Thank you Shreveport for the good stay. I would never in my life again book in the Holiday Inn in Shreveport. Worst experience and mistake and waste of money.

Great staff! Check in and every interaction with the staff here, especially Richlyn, has been excellent! With the dangerous weather conditions, a lot of staff were unable to get to work. I think Richlyn worked every poaition in the hotel over a 72 hour period! The available shuttle was also really helpful to a traveling cyclist!

Holiday inn by name, inside more like a Motel 6. Old looking, not worth the price, has roaches, and not sound proof. But the bed is comfortable.

The bed was super comfortable, sheets were clean, but the room was very dirty. Curtains had several stains. The furniture had spots and crumbs on it. The floor was sticky and had visible "wet" stains by the bed. The smell was also terrible, like it was mopped with dirty mop and then they put the mop in the ac unit.

Transportation not available from this location Uber or taxi. Freight Trains operating next the hotel. Noisy all especially in throughout the night, bedding is old and deformed in the center to the edge. Overall horrible stay.

My stay at the holiday Inn was not pleasant at all. My room had what looked like cobwebs in the ceiling. There was not not much of a closet. Also my room was right by the 2 train tracks and when I tell you the trains were none stop. I really did not get a lot sleep. The staff was very friendly though.
