Hotels near Awaji Dam, Shodoshima

I stayed overnight (４ room) on a family trip that doubles as a celebration of Koki. The banquet room I had reserved in advance was nice with a view of the sunset, and the consideration of the staff who took care of me at the banquet hall was the best. In addition, the ４ person room used by the son and daughter family was large, and each room was well equipped and comfortable. I relaxed in a large bath (open-air bath) overlooking the sea, and woke up in the morning to the voice of the ugly. However, I think it would have been a more pleasant stay if you could improve the hospitality of the front desk staff such as the explanation method at check-in. Apart from the hotel, the wonderful hospitality of the volunteer staff 々 at Tosho Port and Shodoshima Scenic Area was a good memory for us.

Very good trip. First time in Shodoshima. I specially chose a hotel with hot springs. This hotel is close to Angel Road. It provides breakfast and dinner. It has local characteristics. The food is delicious. The environment is beautiful. The hot spring is very comfortable. The hardware conditions are a bit old, but it does not affect it. One thing is that the hotel does not provide pick-up, only delivery service. It costs 1,000 yuan to take a taxi from the port to the hotel

It is an inn that stayed overnight during a large consecutive holiday for Seto art. The hotel in Takamatsu city was very high and I didn't feel like staying at all, so I decided to stay at Shodo Island. I chose this inn with a high reputation among them. The inn is a minute walk when you leave the high-speed ship terminal at Dojo port. It is very close and convenient, and the bus stop is also right next to it, so I think it is the best location to go around Shodo Island. Check-in is smooth. The lobby is large and souvenir shops are complete. There are books, chairs, insect removal sprays, and it is relaxing, and it is exhausted. You can also leave your luggage before and after the stay. It is for pilgrimage to prepare water on the front door? Old-fashioned customs stir the willingness of travel. There is also an elevator, so it is safe for those who are inconvenient. The room became a room facing the road of 3 floor and 8 tatami mats. It is enough for two people. There are TV and hot water, but bath, toilet and washing are joint. Yukata is prepared. The men's toilet also had hot water washing. The bath is not large, but it is a level that is not a problem even if it enters with several people. The facilities are old, but they are clean and above all, the husband's lady is very kind. It is worth staying enough. The price is not so high, and if you choose a plan, you can have dinner and breakfast. Convenience stores are close even if you stay overnight. If you stay at Shodo Island, you can relax because you can precede those who come from uno and Takamatsu on the next day's sightseeing. It is especially recommended for those who are used for Setouchi Island 々. It is an inn that I want to use next time.

All rooms are overlooking the Seto Inland Sea. Dinner is equivalent to the course of Kaiseki cuisine and is a little more for women. It is a amount that can be satisfied even for men. Yaki, zukuri, boiled food, preceding, vinegar, rice, sucking, dessert. I was able to enjoy the cherry blossom dishes. In the morning, it is a Japanese and Western buffet that is often in the inn. The room is old and the wallpaper is peeled off, but the cleaning is well done, so it is not possible or not. When I arrived, it was quite cold, so if I could turn on the air conditioner according to check-in time, I wonder if the room was colder than the corridor. There were employees and Chinese, and there were foreign travelers, and they were crowded on weekdays. I think the public bath is quite large. There were about 12 washrooms, and there were baby beds and zabutons and tables in the dressing room, and there was a lot of relaxing space. The open-air bath was relaxed and relaxed because the front was able to see the Seto Inland Sea. It was a plan of 12000 yen per night, so it is a satisfactory price.

The room feels big among Japanese city chain hotels, at least it can open two 20-inch suitcases. The facilities and toiletries are very complete, and cute towels, slippers and toothbrushes are specially prepared for children. The bath towels are very thick, and the pajamas are of good quality. I want to buy some to take away. The bed and pillow are very comfortable. The front desk speaks good English. Although the operator didn't speak English when I called before😅 I didn't have breakfast in the hotel. There are too many delicious foods around. The two teammates bought a lot of snacks at the convenience store. The mermaid bread downstairs is also very good. You can buy freshly baked bread when it opens at 8 o'clock😋. It is about 1.5 kilometers to Ritsurin Garden, a 15-20 minute walk, and there are many buses for 3 stops. The transportation is very convenient to everywhere, and the airport bus pick-up point is also nearby. I want to stay here next time I come to Takamatsu. It is a hotel a little far from JR Takamatsu Station and close to Kotoden Kawaramachi Station. It is a 20-minute walk from Takamatsu Station. It is located just a short walk through the shopping street and central shopping street in Hyogo Town and a turn. There are many drinkers around the hotel, but it was quieter than I expected. It's a hotel with a separate bath and toilet, but you may have different tastes because the washbasin is next to the bed. I thought it would be nice if the washbasin was a little bigger. The room is a large carry bag, and it is a little severe, so if the consecutive night period is long, it seems better to squeeze the necessary luggage.

I travelled with a group and wanted another room. I asked for one and was told there were none available. I subsequently went upstairs and and checked Trip.com and found the room. The staff lie, not a very good welcome. Won't stay again because of this.

We are so glad we stayed in the Uno Hotel. It is quite new. Staff were really friendly and helpful at check in and whenever we went through the reception area. It is super close to the ferry wharves and the train station. Uno Port is a small town but has some restaurants, supermarket, convenience store etc all within 5-10 minutes walk of the hotel. Everything we needed after a day out at an ”art island”. We had considered staying in a bigger town like Takamatsu to go to Naoshima and Teshima but are really glad we stayed in UnoPort. The Uno Hotel is in a lovely spot looking out to the water and as an added bonus had a coin operated washing machine and dryer which always makes travelling easy. Breakfast was beautifully presented, very good quality and we were offered a different ”main” option for our 2nd and 3rd mornings. The staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful - just like reception staff. We didn't use the restaurant for dinner but it was good to know it was there as an option. We didn't use the onsen but were given free access.
