Hotels near Central Indoor Pool, Shizuoka

It is one of the regular inns within walking distance to Shizuoka Station. I also like the view of the city from the window of the room. This time it was a room on the west side, so I could see the cherry blossoms in full bloom in front of Denmacho Elementary School. There is free Wi-Fi, but I had the impression that it was difficult to connect, especially at night. It was the first time in a long time due to the corona disaster, but the simple free buffet eaten on the １ floor in the morning was abolished. There seemed to be a set breakfast that required advance reservations until the night before. I had no choice but to go to Komeda Coffee after checking out.

Spent 3 nights here with my husband. Great location! Close to the main shopping street and walking distance to station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but standard for Japan. Our room seemed to be newly renovated, it was very clean! Enjoyed staying here!

A great hotel with a large public bath near the station and breakfast. I don't eat breakfast and only drink coffee, but the breakfast is so delicious. Is this what Japanese home cooking tastes like? Miso soup is my style. The small croissants are so delicious. Eat three! Since I was traveling with my mother, I chose a hotel near the station or bus terminal. On my previous trip, I stayed at Kuretake Annex Inn (5-minute walk from Ekimae). Honestly, I like Annex better. This time, I made a reservation at Ekimae because there were no seats due to the end of the year, but it's great value for money because you can sleep, walk to Shizuoka Station (5 minutes), Shin-Shizuoka Station (10 minutes), and Senoba (10 minutes). Everyone was so kind and nice, but the large public bath was so small and crowded that I couldn't use it even once. It's such a shame. ㅠㅠ Soundproofing... Especially, I can hear the sound well beyond the door.. I wonder if the students came to play in groups (it seems that many sports students use it in groups) and they are loud and shouting in groups.. I booked a room with two beds and it was really nice. Aside from the old floor feeling and soundproofing, the hot water, heater, and air conditioner are really nice. There is also a Ministop convenience store 1 minute away and a Lawson 3 minutes across the street. If the breakfast place is open in the evening, it would be so nice to forget what I bought at the convenience store ㅜㅜ It's too small to eat in the room Still recommended😀

Advantages: convenient transportation, convenient for eating, drinking and playing. The room is soundproof and the railway is right under the window, which has little impact. Disadvantages: The room is relatively old, the window cannot be opened so the air is poor, and the room lighting is relatively dim.

While there are many hotels that only use sterilization, the inside of the building and rooms are all antibacterial. I think it's more important than looking pretty. There is an automatic coffee machine in the cafe on the first floor, and a variety of cold drinks are available in addition to the automatic coffee machine in the lounge on the second floor. The food service (limited quantities) from 5:30pm includes authentic curry and salad (from the pesticide-free 808 Factory). The hot spring SPA can be used from check-in 3pm to 10am the next morning. The sauna is an automatic Roryu iki stove. The breakfast is far beyond what you would expect from a business hotel. All of the food was of high quality, and I was surprised that they even had crema coffee. A high-grade hotel with a view of Mt. Fuji even for singles (cannot be specified).

Nice family hotel and centrally located opposite the train station with many restaurants choices. Checkin was a breeze and room was clean and spacious. Breakfast that came with the hotel stay was excellent with many choices and sufficient refills. Carpark was chargeable at 1200y per night at the next building and walking to carpark can be cumbersome for some during bad weather. Highly recommended place for those looking for accommodation in this part of the city or exploring the city.

It was a hygienic and good business hotel. It was raining because there was a covered sidewalk a little walk to the station, but I was able to go out to eat without getting too wet. Free water and tea packs were provided in the room, but I should have brought them because I didn't have coffee. Amenity goods were prepared at the front desk and bath salts were also available. It's often difficult because one side is a wall in a double bed room and there is no gap, so if you sleep there, you have to get off after getting to your feet.

Mt. Fuji seen from the lobby and restaurant is a beauty that is not ashamed of the concept of ”Scenic Museum”. There is an observation deck on the side of the upper lounge, and the scenery seen from there is even more wonderful. However, as others have posted, it may not be seen in the condition of steam even if it is sunny. The garden is large and you can hear the birds singing in color 々. The service is also substantial, such as taking pictures casually. There is also a transfer to and from Kunoyama Ropeway. I gave it 5 points because it was 5 points, but there are some points that make me think that if it is 10 points, it is 9 points. When you line up in a restaurant, you take the order with the touch panel instead of writing it with a ballpoint pen, but it is difficult to understand the location and the order cannot be taken properly. There is no announcement about how to line up for breakfast. There is no sheet cleaner in the toilet. I hope to improve around here.

Excellent location within walking distance to the train station, shopping alleys, museum and the fisherman market which serves good value seafood. Hotel front desk staff are very friendly and helpful and a lady actually recommend a less expensive carpark next door (500 Yen 12 hours comparing to 1200 Yen Hotel parking). More like a business hotel which provides no other leisure facility. Room price is a bit less competitive relative to other hotels I stay in other locations during this trip.
