Value for money. Very good onsen and rooms are comfortable. They have shuttle services to Noboribetsu station. There is a convenience store nearby. Kojohama station is 12 mins walk away.

The onsen in the hotel is good. The food at the restaurant is good and at reasonable price. The amenities well provided. Except our room faces the railway track, quite noisy!

It looks good, but it's extremely poorly designed and expensive. The bathroom has a basket of soap on the floor. The outlets are literally in the bed, right at face level, which is unsafe. There are no towel hooks in the bathroom. The breakfast is very basic, and I personally didn't like it at all.

Kojohama Spa Hotel is new, modern, and very clean, with a welcoming lobby where guests can help themselves to free drinks – coffee, tea, apple water, and hot water. It’s a nice touch to be able to grab something the moment you arrive. The onsen is another highlight. It’s open until late and well-equipped with everything you need (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, etc.). The atmosphere is tranquil, away from the city and traffic noise, making it a relaxing retreat for both couples and families. The location itself doesn’t have much right outside – it’s along the highway – but that also makes it a convenient base. The hotel seems popular for its day-use onsen, and it’s also close to the shoreline where crab eateries are scattered. Perfect spot to unwind after a seafood feast. Since it’s a little outside of town, we grabbed sashimi and ready-to-eat food from the supermarket to enjoy back in our room – a simple but satisfying option. The rooms are comfortable, and being a newly built hotel, you’ll find thoughtful touches like smart lighting sensors in the lobby and onsen areas. Overall, a clean, modern, and peaceful stay with a great onsen and easy access to local food spots.

I just visited Noboribetsu Onsen and enjoyed Gojohama Onsen here. This hotel operates a free bus from Noboribetsu Station to the hotel. The hotel is clean and friendly. There is a 7-Eleven right in front of the main gate.

Every things are best. Staffs are nice with their great support even though they can't speak English but they try their best to understand us. The only thing that made us feel bad for them was the dirty onsen.

The hotel has a shuttle bus to Noboribetsu Station, which is quite convenient (there's a hotel shuttle bus on weekdays and a free local shuttle bus on weekends). The onsen (hot springs) are quite crowded on weekends, as many people come to Japan for the onsen. The meals included one night's stay and two meals; they were decent, nothing special.

A massive snowstorm in Hokkaido on January 25th caused JR train service to be suspended. My train departed at 12:40, stopped running at 14:40, and didn't resume until 20:40. Around 3 PM, because Ctrip didn't list the specific times for the hotel shuttle bus service, I called the hotel. However, since my Japanese and English aren't fluent, I communicated via email. (Here's some praise for Ctrip; their customer service even helped me find my email address). The hotel then sent me an online message through Ctrip and also through the email address I provided—the last shuttle bus departed at 17:35. Initially, I thought I could catch it, but since the JR trains weren't running, and the hotel address showed it was close to Itadorihama JR station, I figured I could take the subway myself. Unexpectedly, the hotel proactively messaged me, asking me to contact them when I arrived at Noboribetsu JR station so they could send a car to pick me up. I arrived after 9 PM. The bus and JR train had stopped running, so the hotel sending a car to pick me up was a huge help. The next day, seeing it was snowing, I slept all day. I also used the hotel's onsen (hot spring). Previously, I'd noticed the water was very clear and assumed it had been artificially treated. Later, I found a laboratory display near the entrance with measurements showing the source of the hot spring and its pH value (pH 8.x). I'm not sure if hotel onsen require artificial treatment, but I still felt like I was soaking in a real hot spring. And this is a traditional Japanese onsen. I saw on Google that many locals also come here to bathe. This hotel has an open-air onsen, a medium-temperature onsen, a hot onsen, a cold onsen, and a sauna. I tried them all according to the methods suggested on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform) (although due to the weather, the flow of hot spring water was limited, and there was no hot onsen). The next day, I went to Jigokudani (Hell Valley), which felt really far from Noboribetsu JR station. This hotel is quite close to Noboribetsu JR station compared to Jigokudani. In short, I'm very grateful for the hotel's help. Also, the next day when I went to Jigokudani, I took the hotel shuttle bus to Noboribetsu JR station, but it seems to go all the way to Jigokudani. So if you see this message, you can ask the hotel staff. However, the shuttle bus only runs once in the morning. There are self-service washing machines and dryers; washing clothes costs only 300 yen, and drying costs 100 yen, both taking half an hour. The rooms are also very, very beautiful.

The hotel is near Hell Valley, convenient for driving. Before entering the hotel, you have to remove your shoes and put them in lockers. The hotel is very clean and has several onsen baths, both indoor and outdoor.

Kojohama Onsen offers an excellent balance of hot springs, food, and service. First of all, the food is delicious. The cuisine makes use of Hokkaido's signature ingredients, and while not overly flashy, it's highly satisfying. It left me with the impression of "properly delicious hot spring inn food." The hotel was very clean, and the guest rooms, baths, and common areas were all well-maintained, making for a relaxing stay. The staff were also attentive and friendly. The friendly atmosphere, without being overly attentive, was a comfortable touch. Also, there are many delicious seafood bowl restaurants in the area, making it a unique attraction of Kojohama to enjoy both hot springs and delicious seafood. I recommend this place for those looking for a quiet yet satisfying hot spring getaway away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. ⸻ ⭐ Overall Rating ★★★★☆ (4.0-4.2) ✔ Delicious food ✔ Cleanliness ✔ Good service ✔ Great local dining options

It's the pride of the village, the largest building within a 10-mile radius, and surprisingly clean. Luckily, there's a restaurant downstairs, otherwise I wouldn't know how to get dinner. The hours here are very early, and dinner is served at 5:00 PM at the latest.
