We had a wonderful stay at the Bentley Southampton, where I visited with my parents, who lived in the area back in the 1960s. It was a lovely trip down memory lane, and the hotel was the perfect home base for a week. The suite was spacious and very comfortable for the three of us. In addition to a large bedroom, the living room had two pull-out sofas. While the sofa beds aren’t the most comfortable (as is often the case), if you place an extra comforter under the fitted sheet. that made a significant difference. If you're young, it doesn't matter. If you're older, it matters :-) Alternatively, you can sleep on the sofa itself (if you're under 5' 8”). The kitchenette area was great with a table for dining, making it easy to enjoy meals together. We also loved the patio, which was a nice spot to relax (a little noisy with Route 27 traffic, but the fence helps cut down on the noise). The rooms and bathroom were spotless, cozy, and modern. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The only minor hiccup during our stay, which has nothing to do with the hotel, was navigating the intersection at Hill Station Rd and Route 27, especially when turning left. I’d recommend taking a longer route or using Montauk Highway to avoid any frustration (or potential accidents). Overall, we had a great experience .
