Club Med Tomamu Hokkaido

Shimukappu|2.26km from Kumo no Yubinyasan
From the moment I set foot in ClubMed Tomamu, it was clear that the ensuing ten nights would be an unparalleled mix of adventure, relaxation, and culinary delights. Here's a comprehensive overview: Morning Power Walks: Starting the day with a brisk walk through Tomamu's invigorating terrains is truly special. With Mia, Samy, and Edo leading the way, these walks were more than just fitness routines — they offered a deep dive into the tranquil beauty of dawn. Biking through Tomamu's serene landscapes was consistently a highlight. The biking adventures with Roman, Austin, Samy, and Mei will remain cherished memories Hiking Adventures: Exploring Hoshino Farm in Tomamu offers a profound experience, merging nature's untouched beauty with the nuances of agriculture. Yoga and Stretching Sessions: Kevin and Mia’s yoga classes provided a peaceful refuge during my busy days. Meanwhile, Vicky and Abu’s stretching sessions were the ideal remedy for sore muscles, ensuring both relaxation and rejuvenation. Cooking Classes: Chef Amir, your Hokkaido buckwheat crepe class was not only enlightening but also immensely enjoyable. Chef Yoshi, your Cartoon Character sushi class was equally captivating. Hike to Tomamu Mountain Peak from Unkai Terrace: An absolute bucket-list experience! Ascending to the peak and being welcomed by a mesmerizing sea of clouds felt otherworldly. The expansive view below stands as a testament to nature's unmatched beauty. I'd recommend this to any visitor. Outdoor Onsen at Mina Mina Beach: This was the quintessential way to conclude an eventful day. It captures the true essence of Japanese relaxation. Immersing oneself in the warm onsen waters, with nature all around and the occasional sight of deer grazing nearby, was therapeutic in every sense. Gastronomic Experiences with Chef Damian and Team: Dining at ClubMed Tomamu was like attending a daily culinary celebration. Chef Damian, along with his skilled team, turned every meal into a gourmet experience. The impeccable service from the restaurant staff added a touch of opulence to the dining events. Dining with the GOs: Sharing meals with a diverse group of wonderful GOs, such as Carol, Shaun, Jacky, Oat, Sheba, Iris, Top, Jade, Anais, Demi, Shelly, Mei, Mia, Gary, Abu, Austin, Roman, Samy, Tawan, Michael, Fahmi, Robin, Becca, Keenan, Shori, Tiffany, Una, and many others, elevated the dining experience. At the resort, meals transcended being merely about food. Engaging with various GOs made every mealtime unique and memorable. Hoshino Resorts Tomamu the Tower

Attracted by the Hoshino brand and the chapel on water. Felt overpriced after check out. We booked both twin and treble rooms. the treble rooms had better view. But the rooms are definitely outdated and in desperate need of major refitting. Need to walk 10 min to the restaurant area. We waited 40 min for the Italian dinner. At 8.30pm we escorted our elderly members to the chapel on water in which they climb stairs and outdoor corridor to reach. It was quite tiring for them. The onsen also needs a lift by their buses. it is not a walkable distance. Breakfast at Hal was ok.  Overall,  everywhere is crowded. After checkout our family went for the farm ride. But really i don't think the rental gasoline golf car is ever needed cos it is perfectly walkable from parking lot even for our 90 yo father. Would not recommend staying at the resort again. Did not find the stay justifiable.

I felt that I couldn't slip the snow anyway and ordered a cheap one that day, the result was better than expected! Picked us up on the jr line, and the hotel was better than expected. I thought it would be bad.
Pension Ing Tomamu

I was taken care of by this pension from two hopes that I wanted to eat dinner at the course dish at my parents' birthday celebration and to stay at Tomam to see the cloud sea terrace. It feels like a small restaurant from the outside, but when you enter it, there is a lot of depth and it is a wide luxury making as a space. The room is not very large, compared to the hotel, it is small separately, there is no desk or sofa, and it is a room to sleep. The temperature difference seems to be large by the room, the room where the parents stayed is cold, and the room where I stayed 々 seems to be different when it is hot. The room is equipped with a stove and a fan. The dishes were made using the accommodation plan of the morning and evening set, and both foods were delicious. Dinner is served as a course dish in order. I brought the hall cake in advance, but I was able to keep it in the kitchen until the meal time. On the sightseeing side, you can explain very politely when you consult to go to the cloud sea terrace. I also advised you to be careful with sightseeing points. The hot spring is not very large. 5 Is it about the size of the person? The temperature was close to 40 degrees and it was possible to warm it. You can also dilute it with water, but it is strictly prohibited to drain it. The hot water seems to have been wet due to that. The visitor is 3 percent of the western guests on the day he stayed, and the rest of the Japanese. There were no Asian guests. There was a person who came into the bathroom to worry about it, so when I called Hello, welcome, I seemed to be relieved to come in and enjoyed a simple public story. The cloud sea terrace was unfortunately sunny, so it is an inn that I want to visit again if I have a chance to revenge.
Hoshino Resorts Risonare Tomamu

We have created memories that will last a lifetime. The design and lighting of all rooms, resorts, and restaurants are optimized for Instagram/SNS photos, so even if you just take a rough picture, you can get a picture of your life. I usually don't like buffets, but this place is really different. A visit to all the buffet restaurants is highly recommended. For 1,100 yen for breakfast and 4,000 yen for dinner, you can eat a la carte dishes of fine dining class at the buffet. It is recommended to make a reservation in advance, as reservations for Italian/Teppanyaki/Japanese restaurants/some buffets are sold out before you visit. It was very convenient to have Korean-speaking staff everywhere, but you need to be able to speak basic Japanese/English to use the resort comfortably. Please note that there is no Korean language on the signage in the resort. It was nice to hear a kind and detailed explanation in Japanese/English, but hearing the same content in my native language made me feel more caring and more moved. Thank you to all the Korean staff who helped. Now, when I visit Japan, I want to check whether the Hoshino Resort is located in the area. It is a resort you want to visit every year in June, lavender season, and ski season.

Not a place for foreign tourists To experience the feeling of local Japan It is a good value for money accommodation. From Furano to New Chitose It was good as a last night route. There is no open-air bath, so don't expect hot springs. Sauna was used as a charter It's old, but it's very clean with no dust in every corner. Since it is a cabin in the forest, even in winter, ladybugs are indoors. It was also fun to be with nature. The bedding is soft and the stove is warm. Surprisingly, I was surprised that the interior of the room was warm. The owner is kind and comfortable overnight! If you are a foreigner who can speak simple Japanese Try the real Japanese traditional culture experience!
