I went on a ４ consecutive holiday in autumn. Because it is ITO en hotel, the outside is quite old, but the interior is cleanly renovated and kept clean. The meal is ok, but it is originally quite reasonable for the price, and it feels like the content of the price. Especially because it is ITO, there is no good seafood. I think it is satisfactory for my family, but it is not the content that I expect to taste. However, considering the cost and content, the sea (Shimoda port) is close and convenient and the environment is good, so I think it is a recommended inn if it is important for Cospa.

The hotel in Kochira was great! The classic building is carefully maintained, staff, rooms, views, hot springs in the large communal bath, views from the bath (you can enter while watching the sunrise from early morning), and a full breakfast of seafood is delicious. I didn't have to say anything. I went to Izu for the first time in a long time and stayed while looking at the hot springs and the sea from the room. It was a good trip! Because it was winter, there were few children and only adults who fell, so the hall was relatively quiet. Many people use trains, and I saw a surprising number of people who asked for taxi arrangements and hotel shuttle bus reservations. The check-in time overlaps from 3 o'clock to evening, so if you stagger the time a little, you can check in smoothly without waiting. The elderly sit on the sofa and ask the staff to explain the national travel support. The glass-enclosed rooms with ocean views and the large communal bath are unsatisfactory! !!

Very good flight and comfortable in front of Izu Express Shimoda Station. I arrived by bus, but there is also a bus terminal. However, the number of flights is not large. It is in a good place to check the time and spend the time adjusting to the bus time. The room was large and cozy. The front desk is not on the １ floor of the building, but there is a guide on the elevator. It is a little difficult to find, but you can see it if you look well. The front desk had a polite staff. The morning bread is also available near the front desk, but I was grateful. However, at night, there is no pleasure town around ... is it because of the corona? It was saved because there was a supermarket. It is recommended for people who use railways and buses.

The property has amazing ocean views high on an outcropping, but none of the rooms with an ocean view have a balcony, except the very edge of the east wing. Wonderful gardens with a path lading down to a small beach that isn't too noteworthy. The rooms have been updated since the construction and are pretty good overall. The pool was closed in June, which was pretty disappointing, especially as the beach is below par. The onsen facilities met expectation. The beds are firm, which I loved, but not everyone likes a firm mattress. The hotel operates a bus service to pick up guests from the train station twice an hour from 9-5pm. If you are doing dinner out in the town or drinks in the evening, you have to grab a taxi back as the walk is a bit of a hike. The hotel staff are very friendly and kind, the concierge knows the area and has great recommendation for activities...wonderful and friendly people. The hotel restaurant serves a nice mostly Japanese breakfast (as expected) with local delicacies, wide range of teas, coffee and juice as well as a great selection of breads and fresh fruit. The hotel restaurant for dinner is average. Our group ordered a range of items off the menu and no one was terribly impressed. The lone stand out was the French Onion soup, packed with flavor, though a bit light on the cheese. Would stay here again if the price was right, was able to get rooms at a discount on this stay as it was rainy season.

Amazing experience at this Ryokan in front of the beach. I stayed in room 211 with a private bath in the balcony. The view from the room was amazing and very beautiful. The shower was great also, located next to the balcony. The hotel has 2 different public baths. One of them is located in the terrace where you can observe the beautiful stars at night while relaxing in the bath. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. There is a ping pong table near the front office where you can play for free. The dinner and breakfast were very delicious and very abundant. I will definitely stay here again if I go to Shimoda.

The tatami mats in the room smelled like cigarettes and hurt my throat, and the corridor was very smelly every time I went to the meal and the hot spring, so I want the Japanese room to clearly divide the non-smoking floor and the smoking floor. I had a lot of people waiting for the elevator to say that it smelled like cigarettes. If you can't do it all on the floor, you can't smoke right half and smoke left half and smoke (because you can't stay if you are a child or an elderly person, you can't stay in a Japanese room...) If the room is properly smoked, it was ☆ 5 without stress.

Our meals are private dining, friendly, lovely waitress who can meet all our needs, serve us very professionally, and introduce us to Japanese dining etiquette. After we go to breakfast, the hotel attendants will come to our room, take the Japanese mattress away, and then set up the living area, and when we go to dinner, they will come and put the mattress for us. Every afternoon, we will prepare ice water and snacks. They don't mind us bringing sand back from the beach, but they will help us clean it up quickly. The hot springs are very beautiful, indoor and outdoor, both male and female, and you can see the seaside scenery. There is a convenience store next to the hotel where you can buy coffee, snacks and lunch. In the evening, you can set off fireworks by the sea and children can play video games. The whole community is very safe and is a local resident. It would be better if there was no online network in the room, but, in short, we could focus more on playing and resting without the network.
