I saw a nice photo of the homepage and decided to this hotel immediately. Lobby, courtyard, pool, corridor... It was a hotel full of exotic feelings that I wanted to take pictures everywhere. Clean, customer service was polite and cozy. However, I felt that it took a little time to see the sightseeing spot. So this time I will be at the hotel and will use it again next year ♪

In July 2021, I stayed at the silver wedding commemoration. I emailed the hotel in advance, upgraded the meal, and at the last night's French dinner, I also received a silver wedding memorial plate. The staff at the front desk and restaurant recognized us and called us by name and responded very polite and kind. Japanese food, French, breakfast and all are delicious and wonderful. It was good to incorporate the ground. I sent you an email to thank you and the improvement I noticed later, but I was surprised by the reply from the manager. I want to use it again. Thank you.

I stayed on a trip in April. The building is not a new building, but it was well cleaned. It was a Japanese-Western style room and it was a luxury for a family ５ name. The children were happy with the buffet style for dinner and breakfast. When I walked on the promenade outside, I was able to go to the observatory in about ５. It was very moving because I was able to go at sunset time. The staff were fewer young, but they were very kind and helpful. I took a bath at night and in the morning, but I recommend it because the view is very good in the morning. There are two things I was curious about. When I arrived at the hotel, it would have been nice to have a parking lot information if possible. The door of the open-air bath was often open and it was cold. I went to tighten it several times, but I gave up because I was playing with it. The spring part on the door may be old. I went to see the word of mouth before my stay, so I didn't expect much, but overall I was happy with the very good inn. Another point is that there is no convenience store nearby, so you should be careful.

I booked an old-fashioned inn because the regulation of corona pass was relaxed. On an unusual hot day, I gave up outdoor sightseeing (such as a pleasure boat) and arrived early. I left the car and went out to buy souvenirs nearby. If it was not hot, I wanted to walk in the garden from the room. The view of the room on the sea side was great. The meal was a Viking for two meals, but it was devised, not a thing, and it was very delicious and satisfying. The dessert was delicious and small, so I was able to eat a lot of variety. There was a free rental bath other than that and I enjoyed it. The rooms are Japanese rooms, and the oldness is undeniable, but the cleaning was neat and I was able to spend it comfortably. Although it was a long established inn, there was hospitality, and there was hospitality facing the present, and it felt fresh. It was impressive that the staff 々 was very polite.

Just this accommodation is seasonal and off-season, and there is a terrace construction, and it is reasonable (with 3200 yen breakfast per person, and the price rises when it becomes close) I know that I can stay at １ nights. Really it was scheduled to stay ２ nights, but my friend will return at work and the accommodation fee will rise more than I thought it was a stay in two people instead of three people ２ nights are abandoned. There was a sense of security in the corona folding and staying in a separate building than the hotel. Indeed, the entrance of the inn is difficult to understand from the road, but I managed to notice the entrance when I looked carefully in advance. Just after entering, the road is narrow, so it is hard to pass the opposite car. The room was nice, but the wifi was bad and I moved the room. The photo was taken before moving, so it was another room, but the price is the same. There were also １ dog beds and tableware, and pet sheets were also prepared. The bath was known as a cat leg in advance, so I enjoyed it without being particularly confused. The weather was not good, but the stay in the room was relaxing. It is necessary to be careful because the foot is slippery when it is raining. The refrigerator in the room is small, so the ice making room is very small, and it is a little unfortunate that the ice I bought did not enter well. But I want to eat my own next time because there are tableware. It was good to have breakfast with sausage, baked bread, and local food. It is convenient because it is also very close to the station from here. I wrote it before, but at the time of reservation, the accommodation fee will be how much per person, but in fact it is the standard of １ room, so you have to be careful when changing the number of reservations on the way. Also, the dog is １ 2,000 yen accommodation fee. The multi headed dog will have a high accommodation fee, but it may be a good place. By the way, the dogs usually sleep in the same room as their daughters, so this time my daughter slept on the sofa on the １ floor. I thought it would be better to bring a blanket in this case. I'm looking forward to it because I can do dog run next time.

This hotel is one of the most famous in Toba…and probably was a real gem 40/50 years ago when the Japanese Emperor and even Queen Elizabeth II stayed here…but like Toba itself is probably not what it once was! The hotel is in 2 wings (the Ocean wing and the Harbor wing) At first we booked a Harbor wing room. The room,while offering a view of the water,looks out onto the back of the ferry terminal in the distance.Also it seems that the sightseeing boats sometimes come into this area to turn or park up.From about 7 am you will hear boarding sounds to announce the different ferries leaving….which certainly makes it a more lively experience. We were offered an upgrade (unfortunately not free) to an Ocean View suite for ¥2500 per person…and after seeing the room we jumped at the chance. A huge room (two big beds) with uninterrupted views out to sea.Probably refurbished about 4 or 5 years ago…the bedroom and sitting area were very nice with a telescope for birdwatching if you are interested.Also a Nespresso coffee machine and free water. The bathroom and toilet seemed older and while it was lovely to have a bath in the morning with the sun streaming in and the wind blowing,these rooms could probably do with an upgrade to put them in line with the bedroom/sitting area (don’t look too carefully at the floors…carpets…tatami flooring or the big green bathtub) Package included breakfast. There was good English signage on the different foodstuffs on offer. The Japanese food selection seemed good/the western options a little disappointing (omelettes…cooked to order if you ask/fish and chips/pizza/sausage and grilled bacon) There is no hot spring in this hotel itself.The sister hotel - Shiojitei - a beautiful looking Japanese style ryokan hotel houses the baths.Guests can use the pearl baths by either walking easily from the Harbor view rooms (about 2-3 minutes) or take a shuttle bus from the reception area. The baths were very nice…but if they are the purpose of your stay then stay at Shiojitei as you can wear your yukata and just pop up/down from your room.You have to dress/undress appropriately if you stay in the International and this might be a little too much trouble to go to the baths a number of times! The staff are excellent.Very friendly and welcoming(a few spoke English)Their shuttle services to/from the train station are frequent and they will even do outside of the schedule if you are lucky! Also they take guests to/from Shiojitei at the drop of a hat. All in all.Beautiful views from the Ocean wing suites.If that s what you re looking for worth the upgrade from the Harbor wing rooms. The ocean views are better from the International…whereas for a Japanese feeling hotel with the main focus on the hot-spring baths I would stay at Shiojitei.

I used it on a group trip with people with disabilities. If the prefecture is not the same prefecture, the travel company seems to be unable to move, and all of them responded directly. There was a difference, and it was hard, but I answered this request properly. The meal was about the first of the group trips until now, and it was impressed with the handmade feeling that the breakfast was used. There were many foreign people, but everyone felt neat and nice. The building is old, but I want to go again for a delicious meal and hot spring.
