Food was fantastic! Room was a bit old and mildewy

The hot springs were wonderful, and the food was fantastic; I was very satisfied. However, there was one thing I was a little unsure about: when checking in, you hand over your car keys and the hotel staff move your car for you. But everyone's different, so it's hard to judge.

This was my first stay, and the Japanese-style room was incredibly dusty; the air purifier in the room was constantly running at full power. We were told that the futons would be laid out while we ate in the banquet hall, but when we returned to our room after dinner, the futons hadn't been laid out. Two foreign boys in casual clothes came into the room and hastily laid out the futons. The dinner 🍽️ had so many dishes that I couldn't even get to dessert! The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options. The private bath had a tatami floor, but it was very moldy and not very clean. The shower in the public bath had very little water pressure, so it took a long time to wash myself.

I extended my stay by two days because I found it so comfortable. The hotel's breakfast and dinner were slightly different each day to avoid repetition. The hot springs were also very relaxing. Only a few staff members speak English; I hope they continue to provide enthusiastic service to their guests.

The staff were fresh and very nice. The room was a typical, ordinary room. What was disappointing was the bathroom; there was a lot of mold, and the tatami mats in the bathroom were slimy and unsanitary. Also, the open-air bath was located at the bottom of some stairs, and there was no view whatsoever.

The food was plentiful and I was completely full! There was a private bath available, and I didn't know it was included in the reservation, so I was lucky to be able to use it on the day!

When I booked online, only Japanese-style rooms were listed, but when I arrived at the hotel, it was a smoking room and the smell of cigarettes was terrible. The public bath was also covered in mold. The food was delicious, but I wouldn't want to stay there again.

I arrived in front of the hotel around 3 PM, but there was no one there. I waited, wondering what to do, when a leisurely-looking man came over. He asked for my name and loudly confirmed it with another man. When I went into the front desk, it was packed with people, and I didn't know what to do, so I drank some tea and waited. Then someone who arrived later spoke to the front desk staff who were explaining things, asked for their name, and wrote it down on a piece of paper. If I had just waited silently, I would have been left alone the whole time. The room was spacious, and I could see the distant mountains, so I was able to relax in the room. The bath wasn't exactly clean, but it was okay. The open-air bath was outside, but I couldn't see the scenery or the sky at all, which I guess is unavoidable. I went for breakfast around 8:40 AM, but there was another huge line! By the time I ate, the miso soup had gotten completely cold, and the seat I was shown to was gone. It was a terrible experience. However, the food, especially the rice balls, was delicious. If you asked me if I would want to go again knowing all this, I would say yes. Thank you for your hospitality.

I don't have any particular complaints, but the building does feel a bit old.

Although the room was old overall, it was well cleaned and comfortable. On the downside, the futon was thin and not very comfortable to sleep on.

The food was delicious, both for dinner and breakfast. However, when I arrived, the young man at the front desk was a little suspicious (there was an accidental discrepancy in the number of people booked), and I was honestly annoyed when he just told me to "check for yourself" as soon as I arrived. Also, I noticed some rips in the carpet in the hallway, which honestly made me feel a bit disappointed, but the kindness of the ladies in the dining area and the delicious food made up for that and I ended up with fond memories. This is a hotel with more Japanese guests, the waiter's attitude is friendly, the room area of ​​the single room is not too big, breakfast and dinner are mainly meeting cuisine, taste good fresh food, hot spring needs not the largest, but feeling enough, hygienic and clean, lobby in certain hours of the day free instant coffee and other drinks. The hotel is not in the busiest location, about 12 minutes walk to Onsen Stone Section Street and about five minutes walk from the crane to the observation deck of Miqing Station. Overall good value for money, can stay again next time.
