WASSIM

Shekou Area (Nanshan District) Shenzhen|0.6km from University of China Merchants Bank
Location is ideal if you are staying in the Sea World area very convenient to all the shops, restaurants and bars. Hotel signage does not say Wassim so we walked right past it the first time and then had to ask where the hotel was. It says (something? Sorry can't remember the first word) Apartments. Very convenient to the Seaworld Metro, use exit A. Check in and check out was very easy and the front desk personnel was outstanding. So why did I give Service a 2? The reason is the 3rd party security service the apartment hires is extremely rude and disrespectful. We had 5 groups stay there and each one that was a couple was questioned by security and treated the females like they were *********** being brought back to the hotel. Required them to show ID and go to the front desk before they were allowed to go to their room. Those that did not have their ID with them at that moment (Left in the room) security was very aggressive and did not want to allow them the chance to go to the room and get it then started making threats on calling the police. The hotel did apologies for the issue the next morning, but all the females felt very uncomfortable and scared. The room did not look like the photos, little musty smelling and was outdated. There was no carpet but all tile which is fine, but in the bathroom the tile was extremely slippery. The shower mat they provide to prevent slipping is very small and if you stepped off of it you were at risk of falling. The shower drain did not drain fast enough for the amount of water. The shower was not sealed properly and leaked all into the bathroom floor the caulking was old and had mold on it. The water leak made it even more of a fall hazard on that slick surface. Patio that I had was very spacious but extremely dirty. Power outlets were limited. Wardrobe did have a lot of space and there was a dresser if you need storage. If you only care about location and not any of the other items, this hotel is good enough.

I like it very much. At first I thought it was a small hotel and didn't care too much. I thought about staying for one night. I didn't expect to be shocked after the reservation, mainly because their clothes are really OK. After booking the hotel, the front desk staff called me and asked me what time I would arrive. Is there any children? Do you still need to prepare something for me? Is the hotel industry so rolled now? ? ? I had a star service experience in an instant. I went to the hotel and my husband to check in. The lobby was a little small but the match was very warm and nice. The passage may be because the floor is not so spacious. At first glance, you can know that it has not been renovated for a long time. The carpet is still new. The waiter specially introduced the voice intelligent interaction system. I tried it and changed it well. I don’t need to get up and pull the curtains and press the switch. Just ”open”, It's too friendly for people I don't want to move when I lie down. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, most hotels are like this, nothing special. Their restaurant is very suitable for taking pictures in the morning. The blue sky and white clouds are accompanied by the sun. The taste of happiness in the day is full of happiness. I don’t say that I have to go to Window of the World and Happy Valley to play. I will continue to share [Sun] next time.

I recently had a delightful stay at this hotel and found it to be an excellent choice for families. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodated all our needs with a friendly and helpful attitude. The accommodations were not only comfortable but also family-friendly, providing a cozy and safe environment. Moreover, the hotel's location added to the overall positive experience. Situated in a convenient and accessible area, it made exploring the surrounding attractions hassle-free. I highly recommend this hotel for families seeking a combination of good service, accommodating staff, and a prime location for their stay.
Shenzhen Minghua International Conference Center Hotel

Shekou Area (Nanshan District)
The hotel is very clean and tidy, close to Nanshan, the environment is beautiful, comfortable and very quiet. The geographical location is also very advantageous, close to the sea world, it is very convenient to eat and shop, and you can go to the sea world to watch the musical fountain at night. Close to the subway station and bus station, travel is also very convenient. The service of the hotel staff is very enthusiastic and professional. I booked a standard room. When I checked in, the lady at the front desk also upgraded the European-style deluxe room, which was also equipped with a small fruit plate, and a small card with warm writing was placed next to the fruit plate. The room is clean and the cotton fabrics are comfortable. The only thing is that the equipment in the room is a little old, but overall it is a good stay. I will choose Minghua Hotel next time I come to Shenzhen.

Minghua International Conference Center is a time-honored brand of investment promotion. The accommodation is quiet and tidy, and the meals are old and authentic. There are not only general accommodation but also apartments, which can be understood as the style of a homestay. Especially the management is very strict. Staying several times, the hotel manager Xiao Mo always makes you feel like you are at home, very good👍
Hanting Hotel (Shenzhen Sea World)

Shekou Area (Nanshan District)
Great location few minutes away from the sea world and all the fun, clean room but bathroom had a slightly bad smell of pee. Comfortable bed&pillows. Tv is not working cos the wifi is constantly off. We arrive to the hotel around 16:30 and the room wasn’t ready, the receptionist was completely lost and just repeated “you have to wait”.. if I didn’t speak Chinese I might be waiting for my room another hour or so. I had to fight to get a room, the manager simply suggested they return the money, and they wouldn’t care if the rooms in other hotels are more expensive if you booking at the same day. Not the cheapest option to get such a stress to simply check in to fully prepaid room.
Ranz Hotel

Shekou Area (Nanshan District)
Pros: Location was good - close to subway train station, restaurants, Sea World, and not far from the walking trails by the Bay that is pretty. Cons: Room is very small, toilet was once clogged, we were told that toilet papers must be placed in the waste basket and can not be flushed, which is unusual. Breakfast at the hotel (25 yuan/person) was not impressed for selections and for quality.
YOME Hotel

A good room for a good price, good location. However its not the cleanest room, nor do they redo the rooms unless you request if you are staying more than one night. Also, they do not have cups for coffee or tea, if you want to have coffee or tea, just glasses. I don't think I will stay there again
