JI Hotel (Shenzhen Huaqiangbei Huaqiang Road Subway Station)

This was my first time in Huaqiangbei, Shenzhen, and I'm so glad I chose the Ji Hotel (Shenzhen Huaqiangbei Huaqiang Road Metro Station branch). My stay far exceeded expectations, and it will definitely be my first choice if I visit Huaqiangbei again! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's just a short walk to Huaqiang Road Metro Station, and SEG Plaza is right next door, making it perfect for both business trips and shopping. What impressed me most was the service. Every staff member, from the front desk to the breakfast restaurant and housekeeping, was incredibly warm, polite, and always had a genuine smile. Whenever I had an issue, they were patient, helpful, and proactive in finding solutions. You could truly feel their sincere dedication to service, rather than just going through the motions, which is something truly rare and appreciated. Furthermore, the hotel's overall environment is clean and comfortable. The room was meticulously maintained, and the public areas were spotless, making for a very relaxing and reassuring stay. Thank you to every staff member at Ji Hotel for their dedicated effort, which made my trip to Shenzhen a truly wonderful memory. I look forward to my next visit and will definitely recommend it to friends visiting Shenzhen!

Honestly, just skip it. The soundproofing is terrible, and the front desk service was pretty average. The pillows are awful, especially the soft one – it felt like it had been used for ages and had no bounce left. Also, be aware that many of their room types don't have windows, so double-check that before you book.

This Ji Hotel is centrally located, making it incredibly convenient for dining out. I was most satisfied with the room itself. There were no strange odors, and the air conditioning could be adjusted to a very comfortable level, ensuring I had an excellent night's sleep. The breakfast was predominantly Chinese, which suited my palate perfectly. Shenzhen really left a great impression on me.

The hotel's location and facilities are great, but the service was just okay. On the first day, despite my request for a non-smoking room, I was given one that reeked of smoke. It's clear the staff didn't pay attention to guest preferences. We had to wait an hour and a half to switch rooms. If I hadn't been traveling with a child, it wouldn't have been such a big deal, but if the front desk had just checked the notes, we wouldn't have needed to switch rooms, leaving us with nowhere for the kids to rest and disrupting our plans.

Had a wonderful stay here. The staff and service were excellent. Great value for money.

This hotel suite was perfect for our week-long stay, and the dining options were incredibly convenient.
