Homeinn Selected Hotel (Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport) Reviews

I chose this hotel to catch an early flight, and it exceeded my expectations. I initially thought hotels near airports would be noisy and of poor quality, but it was surprisingly quiet, clean, and spacious. The carpeted hallways really helped muffle the sound of luggage being dragged. There's a snack street just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, and a taxi ride to the airport was very quick.

Airport shuttle service: There's a private car shuttle, but you need to book in advance. Service: I told the front desk that my room smelled of smoke, and they handled it promptly. Thumbs up for that! Cleanliness: Very good. It's also very close to Hourui Metro Station, making it one of the most value-for-money hotels near the airport.

The airport transfer service was excellent, very flexible and accommodating. The quality is superb, even better than the pictures! I'm extremely satisfied with the experience; it offers great value for money and is very affordable. The delivery was also quick and efficient. Five-star rating!

Facilities: Decent. Hygiene: Good. Environment: Nice. Service: Pretty much non-existent. The best part is its proximity to the airport, which makes catching flights super convenient.

I've stayed here multiple times. They offer an airport drop-off service, the rooms are a good size, the bed is large, and the water pressure is excellent. It's always my top choice for early morning flights. However, the room prices can be a bit inconsistent; around 200 something would be a more suitable price point.

It's quite close to the airport, and the overall cleanliness is good. Ms. Pu Qian provided excellent service; she was gentle and patient. When I first entered the room, I noticed a slight odor, and she immediately helped me switch rooms. When I was checking out, I needed to write something, and she even gave me a special postcard and envelope. Thank you! My trip was made much more memorable thanks to her.

Tiny, Stuffy, and Rude Staff - A Deeply Disappointing Stay ★☆☆☆☆ Less than Average and Not Worth the Price I am writing this review after a deeply disappointing stay at the Homeinn Selected Hotel in Bao'an, Shenzhen. While the room was clean, that was the only positive in a sea of negatives, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. My stay was plagued by several issues: 1. Claustrophobic and Stuffy Rooms: The room was unbelievably tiny, making it difficult to move around with luggage. Worse than the size was the complete lack of air circulation. The air was dumb, moist, and stale, making the room feel incredibly stuffy and uncomfortable. It felt like we were breathing in the same air all night. 2. Unpleasant "View" and Kitchen Setup: Our window offered a view of a dingy, messy interior space, which was depressing. The kitchen, which is supposed to provide a welcoming service, was a particular low point. It's hidden behind a mostly-covered glass divider, so you have no visibility into the food preparation area. To even order, you have to bend over and try to get the attention of the staff member inside. 3. The Rude and Unhelpful Staff: The worst part of our stay was the staff member running the kitchen and floor. He was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. He ignored our simple greetings. When I politely asked (via phone translation) still early in the morning if he could make a fresh pot of coffee after finding an empty, dirty one, he responded with a sour face and a dismissive hand gesture, indicating "no more" without a single word. This level of service is unacceptable. Overall, this hotel offers a poor experience. The combination of a cramped, stuffy room, a complete lack of basic hospitality (no coffee or warm drinks in the lobby), and outright rude staff made for a very unpleasant stay. The low price does not justify the numerous shortcomings. I will not be returning and would advise others to look elsewhere.

The room is spacious, and the surrounding area offers great conveniences. In the evenings, a walk towards the subway station reveals an abundance of food and drink options, along with numerous supermarkets. Inside the room, there's a small lounge area perfect for entertaining guests, and a compact desk ideal for working. Laundry facilities are also available for washing and drying clothes. It's very close to the airport; a taxi ride covers 5 kilometers in about 10 minutes, costing around 18 RMB. While this isn't particularly cheap, the main benefit is the speed of the journey. The bus, however, takes approximately half an hour to reach the airport. Therefore, the convenience of its proximity to the airport is somewhat of a mixed blessing.

The location is a bit out of the way, but it's very quiet. The front desk service was pretty good when we arrived late from the airport. The cleanliness and environment are fair for the price. The room was quite spacious, with good blackout curtains and very quiet, but it wasn't very well ventilated.

The room was spacious and bright, and impeccably clean. The hotel offers free laundry service. The location is very convenient for getting around, and the front desk service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Highly recommended for travelers!

Great overall quality, excellent service, and spotlessly clean. We appreciated the laundry service, and the breakfast was delicious!

Close to the airport, good for a night if you want to get to stay closer to the airport. I love that smoking is not allowed in this hotel

Fantastic! The room was spotless and smelled wonderful. I had a really comfortable sleep, and the blackout curtains worked perfectly. Plus, it's very close to the airport.
