It’s an old fashioned hotel but it’s very clean and very functional design that compares to the new boutique hotel. I can’t stand the new  boutique style hotel, which looks good but it’s not very functional, such as there is no hook in the glass shower room to hang your towel. The Velaye is much better hotel even its old!

Given its cost, the outlook of the hotel is grand. The staffs is courteous and helpful. The room is clean and tidy.

The shower water pressure is weak water comes out hot n cold it terrible  either burn or freeze you the showers head is old the rubble is coming out.The bed is very hard like sleeping on the floor n I asked for  extra  comforter lay on the bed. The new owner took over it seem nothing is change by the way the WIFI is bad.

Very good hotel in a very convenient area.
So many shops & restaurants are around.
Close to lowu border , metro & railway stations.
Friendly staffs , room condition was ok.
It took a while to get hot water to shower at night.
There is a gym but swimming pool is under maintenance. Overall good and I’d like to stay again if I’m in shenzhen.
