Xperience St. George Sharm El Sheikh

This is my second stay at this resort. The biggest advantage is the affordable price. The food is quite average, and the bedding is a bit rough. Also, the shower in the room I stayed in this time had very low water pressure and wasn't very hot.

Beautiful, clean room with a balcony. Wi-Fi was available in the room, which is great because sometimes at other hotels, it's only in the lobby. Shampoo, soap, shower gel, bottled water – everything was provided in the room. The grounds were small but well-maintained, and the heated pools were a nice touch. There were a lot of elderly Europeans at this particular hotel; in the evenings, they would gather in the foyer to play board games or simply relax. It was a bit boring for the kids, but we enjoyed the evening shows and mini-disco. The food was delicious and varied, with Turkish sweets, fish, yogurts, fruits, and vegetables. The cocktails were also beautifully made. In the evenings, animators and waiters dressed in Egyptian costumes greeted guests at the entrance. A shuttle service was available to the beach. It's also close to Farsha Cafe and the Old Market. The only confusing part was at check-out when they demanded an extra $66 per day for our 12-year-old child, even though our entire room for two adults and one 12-year-old cost 8000 rubles (around $80 at the time). We had to argue about it. It was a strange situation; then they asked for $40, then $30. We refused to pay anything and reported it to support, explaining that they were demanding extra money from us. They claimed a child of that age should be counted as an adult, but we hadn't encountered this at other hotels in Sharm during the same period. In the end, they let us go without paying.

Areas for significant improvement: - Room cleanliness - The food Overall, we found the standards didn't quite meet our expectations, and we had to adapt significantly. The staff were friendly but lacked attention to detail. The hotel offers access to two beaches via a free shuttle service: one is sandy with water that wasn't perfect, but offered water sports and entertainment; the second boasts crystal-clear water, teeming with colorful fish and coral. In conclusion, the property has great potential, even though it's not directly beachfront. Improving the services would make a big difference. On the plus side, Coral Beach is spectacular.
