Hotels in Shaoguandong Railway Station/The History East Street, Shaoguan

I'm a regular guest, I stay at this hotel twice a year when I'm in Shaoguan. The overall service is usually great. However, I wasn't very satisfied with the room I booked this time. The toothpaste in the bathroom clearly looked used and hadn't been replaced. The bedding also had a used smell, and the desk and cabinets in the room were quite dusty. I suspect the previous guests' belongings weren't properly cleaned or replaced, or perhaps the room hadn't been occupied for a while. Anyway, my experience this time was just so-so. I already reported the issues to the front desk when I checked out.

Excellent accommodation experience, I've stayed here multiple times, it truly feels like home. The room has even been upgraded! The room's air conditioning and hot water are adjustable, allowing you to set the temperature to your liking, which is very comfortable. The front desk provides hot coffee, hot tea, and hot water, which is a great incentive. The front desk staff are all smiles and very efficient. I will definitely choose this place again next time I'm on a business trip.

This is my second time staying here. I'm on a business trip to Shaoguan with colleagues. The room is very spacious and quiet. It's also very close to the Fengcailou pedestrian street, just a short walk away, which is quite convenient.

The service was absolutely fantastic! 👍 The front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic. They even proactively offered snacks when they saw I had a child and asked if we needed kids' toiletries, which I really appreciated. The laundry lady was also super kind; she offered to help dry our clothes and deliver them to our room. A big thank you to her! The lobby on the first floor is so cozy, and I was surprised by how many beautiful books they had. And the original flavor cookies? Seriously the best I've ever tasted! The promotional video in the elevator was brilliant, so cheerful and really put me in a great mood. Combined with the staff's warm and friendly welcome, my whole Shaoguan trip truly felt rejuvenating. I sincerely hope all the hotel staff stay happy and have everything go smoothly. Your happiness and your work are truly meaningful.

The family suite was fantastic! It's a suite, and the 2.7-meter bed was incredibly comfortable for staying with our child. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, which was great. The overall environment, cleanliness, and management were all excellent. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, truly heartwarming. The hotel also has free underground parking, which is a huge plus! Great value for money!

It's an older hotel with ordinary facilities, but the staff's service attitude is very good and timely. The bed is a bit hard, but I slept quite comfortably. Although the buffet breakfast does not have many varieties, it is very suitable for children to eat, and it is cheap to buy additional tickets. It is recommended that the hotel room prepare some small spoons and the like, sometimes they are still needed. In short, this hotel is economical and comfortable, suitable for family travel.

I lived in Atour in Tibet and fell in love with their pillows. Stayed for one night and slept for 10 hours. The air conditioning is not noisy, better than many other people's hotels. The breakfast choice is quite rich, 48/person is worth the price. I will live next time.

The room was excellent, very grand, and had a vintage feel; it was a very prestigious luxury five-star hotel from over a decade ago. The decor and facilities reflected this vintage atmosphere. The water pressure from the taps was strong and plentiful, and the drains were unclogged and odorless. The location was also excellent, offering views of the century-old Dongjie Street and the Beijiang River. The breakfast wasn't extensive, but it was much better than typical chain hotels, and I was quite full. The receptionist was very polite, and the other staff were also very helpful. The only slightly eerie thing was the presence of a middle-aged man. We went to bed very late last night, and when I woke up groggily, I felt a middle-aged man walk into the door. I tried to call my sister, but couldn't. I wondered if he might be... He started to move, and then I realized he was fighting for control of my body. I felt like I was struggling, kicking, and screaming, but I couldn't make a sound. Later, I got really hungry, so I told him we had fried rice on the table for lunch and we could go eat it. After a while, I realized I could move again, so I got up, immediately turned on the light, and rummaged through my bag, taking out all the amulets inside. My sister asked me what I was doing, but I didn't dare tell her for fear of scaring her. I said it would be easier to sleep if I laid them out. Then I turned on the hallway light, and it took me a long time to fall asleep. I stay in so many hotels every year, but this is the only thing I've never really experienced before. It was so scary. Our room number ended in 26, and I can't say which floor it was. Then I remembered that the hotel didn't have a room with the number 4, so I avoided the possibility of starving to death with room number 24. It was terrifying.

Looks more like a resort than hotel. Hotel lobby was very grand but facilities are worn down. There is a gym and karaoke room but the karaoke looks more like night club, swimming pool looks old too and it’s closed. Room size ok, necessities are all equipped but lack of power points for charging and no international sockets. Shower surprisingly very comfy good water pressure with enclosed shower and bath tub, and I am very happy to see the washlet toilet. Room comes with a balcony with table and chairs and the view is nice. Free coffee and tea at the lobby. Buffet breakfast variety more local and food are all quite oily, very tasty though. There is a male staff at the reception which I would like to compliment, he helped us book DiDi during our stay throughout using his own account as we have issue with our WeChat. Excellent service! Took DiDi to nearby bainian dong jie for night market and food, must go place if you visit Shaoguan, try the mu mian ting chuan shao, very nice.

I recently stayed at the Mehood Lestie Hotel and the experience was amazing! From the moment you step into the hotel, you can feel the meticulous service. The front desk checked in quickly and recommended interesting places around. The room was clean and quiet, and the layout was very thoughtful. The bedding is comfortable, the bathroom is fully equipped, and even the corners are spotless. It can be seen that the hotel pays great attention to detail. One thing that has to be mentioned is the hotel's catering. The breakfast menu is rich and varied, including Chinese-style hot porridge and steamed buns, Western-style fried eggs, as well as fresh fruits and exquisite pastries, which can meet all tastes and start a day full of energy. The gym has new and complete equipment, which is very friendly for me who loves fitness. I can go there to exercise while traveling and feel no fatigue at all. The hotel is in a great location, with convenient transportation and travel, and there are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. This stay was far beyond my expectations. The service, facilities and environment were impeccable and the price/performance ratio was very high. I sincerely recommend it to friends who are traveling for business or tourism. Next time I come here, I will definitely choose this one!
