Hotels in Zhenjiang District, Shaoguan

First of all it's not Marriott. The name is very misleading. The Chinese name is translated as Marriott but I don't read Chinese and expected to have the real Marriott. In general our stay was good. The room is clean and well-designed. As for the breakfast. After reading some reviews of other travelers I expected something really good but it was just average. Usual Chinese buffet. Europeans can find something to eat ( eggs, congee, noodles) but don't expect too much. Still it's not real Marriott.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The breakfast offered a good variety of food. The ground floor lobby was simple and spacious, with a very comfortable reading nook. The small garden near the elevator exit was beautiful. The separation between the bedroom and bathroom in the room was excellent, and the automated systems worked flawlessly.

The service was absolutely fantastic! 👍 The front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic. They even proactively offered snacks when they saw I had a child and asked if we needed kids' toiletries, which I really appreciated. The laundry lady was also super kind; she offered to help dry our clothes and deliver them to our room. A big thank you to her! The lobby on the first floor is so cozy, and I was surprised by how many beautiful books they had. And the original flavor cookies? Seriously the best I've ever tasted! The promotional video in the elevator was brilliant, so cheerful and really put me in a great mood. Combined with the staff's warm and friendly welcome, my whole Shaoguan trip truly felt rejuvenating. I sincerely hope all the hotel staff stay happy and have everything go smoothly. Your happiness and your work are truly meaningful.

Got upgraded to the river view room ❤️ travelled solo to hike Danxiashang, discovered Shaoguan is a very nice city. Hotel is connected to a mall with lots of fashion brands (not ultra luxury ones but local high end brands either original design)!!! Has delivery robots for takeout orders. Clean room with no smoke smell. Grand lobby.

Excellent accommodation experience, I've stayed here multiple times, it truly feels like home. The room has even been upgraded! The room's air conditioning and hot water are adjustable, allowing you to set the temperature to your liking, which is very comfortable. The front desk provides hot coffee, hot tea, and hot water, which is a great incentive. The front desk staff are all smiles and very efficient. I will definitely choose this place again next time I'm on a business trip.

The room was excellent, very grand, and had a vintage feel; it was a very prestigious luxury five-star hotel from over a decade ago. The decor and facilities reflected this vintage atmosphere. The water pressure from the taps was strong and plentiful, and the drains were unclogged and odorless. The location was also excellent, offering views of the century-old Dongjie Street and the Beijiang River. The breakfast wasn't extensive, but it was much better than typical chain hotels, and I was quite full. The receptionist was very polite, and the other staff were also very helpful. The only slightly eerie thing was the presence of a middle-aged man. We went to bed very late last night, and when I woke up groggily, I felt a middle-aged man walk into the door. I tried to call my sister, but couldn't. I wondered if he might be... He started to move, and then I realized he was fighting for control of my body. I felt like I was struggling, kicking, and screaming, but I couldn't make a sound. Later, I got really hungry, so I told him we had fried rice on the table for lunch and we could go eat it. After a while, I realized I could move again, so I got up, immediately turned on the light, and rummaged through my bag, taking out all the amulets inside. My sister asked me what I was doing, but I didn't dare tell her for fear of scaring her. I said it would be easier to sleep if I laid them out. Then I turned on the hallway light, and it took me a long time to fall asleep. I stay in so many hotels every year, but this is the only thing I've never really experienced before. It was so scary. Our room number ended in 26, and I can't say which floor it was. Then I remembered that the hotel didn't have a room with the number 4, so I avoided the possibility of starving to death with room number 24. It was terrifying.

Environment: There are many places to check in nearby. You can take a sightseeing bus directly to the top of the mountain in Shaoguan Forest Park. The air is fresh, you can hear birds singing all the way, and the scenery along the way is quite good. Facilities: The hotel facilities are all new, with air conditioning, TV, and the room space is also very large. Service: Enthusiastic, you can hear the front desk greeting you when you enter the lobby, which is very good. Hygiene: The details of hygiene are very good.

If you have a lot of luggage or have mobility issues, it's a good idea to request a room closer to the elevator when you check in.

This hotel really understands the hearts of travelers! Conveniently located near the main road. The parking lot is large, so it is not difficult for novices to park. The laundry room not only has laundry facilities, but also a dryer, so you can wear dry clothes on the same day. The projection effect in the room is great. Lying on the bed and watching the game, it feels like being on the scene. The overall environment is warm and comfortable, and the experience is excellent!
