For those planning a visit to Nanhua Temple, Shan Yu B&B is highly recommended as it also offers vegetarian meals.

The room wasn't soundproof and smelled bad! The owner was stingy; even if you ate at the restaurant, you had to pay extra for a bottle of water the next day.

Every year when I visit Nanhua Temple, I stay at Shanyu Homestay. It's conveniently located right next to the temple, with easy access to transportation and parking. Shanyu Homestay combines accommodation and dining, offering local specialties and vegetarian dishes. The homestay owner is warm and generous, offering advice on visiting Nanhua Temple. Before we left, she even gave each of the four of us a portion of her own homegrown organic vegetables. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the views from the windows of both rooms are breathtaking, especially at sunset. The area around the homestay is lined with local restaurants, making it a highly recommended stay.

The room is big. There is a vegetarian restaurant downstairs. The toilet smells bad, probably because of the smell from the kitchen sewer. Everything else is OK.

It's a great guesthouse. The rooms are large and spacious, the bathroom has a window, and the blankets are clean. The location is right next to Nanhua Temple, just a two-minute walk from the temple entrance.

The room smelled musty, and after changing to a smaller room, the price difference was not refunded.

The guesthouse has a great location, just a 5-minute walk from Nanhua Temple, making it convenient to get there. There are several guesthouses in this area; this one has a restaurant downstairs and accommodations upstairs. The rooms are quite spacious and reasonably clean, although the bathroom doesn't have a separate shower and toilet area. The downstairs restaurant serves vegetarian dishes and sells incense, candles, and paper money for worshippers visiting Nanhua Temple. However, the road opposite the guesthouse is a one-way street towards Nanhua Temple, which can be congested during peak hours, causing a slight inconvenience. Overall, I was satisfied.
