I came to Shantou for the food, and the handsome guy provided the perfect food guide. It was awesome. It was a wonderful travel experience. Thank you handsome guy. It's hygienic and convenient for traveling. It's next to a park and has delicious food when you go out.

Although it is a room for 10 people, the space is very spacious. The table and chairs in the middle are very convenient for storing things. The bathroom is in the room, but the sound insulation and sealing of the door are very good. Recommended.

The location is very good and very clean. There are two bathrooms. There is a pergola in the yard where you can drink tea and sunbathe. It is the original flavor of a youth hostel. It is rare to meet a few real tourists.

The self-service check-in is very convenient. The boss will directly give you the room number and password. I went there on a weekday and the boss upgraded me to a sea view room. Thanks to the good bedding, there is a small balcony and the bathroom is clean. It is recommended to use unopened paper towels. Put a tissue box away for use in the bathroom? It's pretty close to the beach, right?

The bed is on the hard side, the facilities are in good condition, and the items provided are relatively complete. The house is clean and tidy. The boss is very diligent and cleans up every day. The bathroom is very clean and the bath water is great. It's refreshing. The decoration is atmospheric and you can write group messages at the door. There is no personal locker, but there is a safe outside the door. The bad thing is that there is a water tank outside the wall, which is very noisy in the middle of the night, which may be troublesome for light sleepers. As soon as I moved in, I heard from my roommates that there were mosquitoes. It turned out that there were mosquitoes in the air and fleas outside the air. The guy in the bed next door tickled me all night long, and I admired him for not changing hotels. I thought I could tolerate the living conditions indefinitely, but when I woke up in the middle of the night and went to the bathroom and saw flea bite marks all over my back and hands, I was devastated. When closing the toilet door, the door handle turned out to be sharp and my hand was scratched. I stayed up all night and stayed up until dawn and quickly left like I was escaping from a prison. There is no YHA in Shantou. Just look for a regular hotel. Spending more money and staying in a guest house is several times better. Don’t think you can find like-minded playmates in Shantou.

The city of Shantou is really bad. There seems to be only this youth hostel in the entire city, and the others are small hotels that cost 40 to 50 yuan. When I went to this couple's hotel, they said that there was no tent when it rained, and the sofa bed was booked by others for several days in a row. The sofa bed is about 12 yuan cheaper than the bunk room, but it is actually very bad because those people are there. I sit on the sofa in the living room until sometimes I don't go to bed until one or two in the morning. If I sleep on the sofa, I won't sleep well at all. But despite this, the bed room is not much better. You can look at the time I took the photo. It's almost one o'clock in the morning. Still keeping the lights on. In and out. There were the sounds of bathing, packing, unzipping suitcases, voices, and the sounds of people chatting in the living room outside. Various sounds walking around. Talk about laughter, cell phone sounds. It was almost one o'clock in the morning. Couldn't sleep at all. About to collapse. Who calls himself poor, living in a place like this? But there is only this youth hostel in Shantou city. The most important thing about accommodation is to have a good rest, and the most important thing about sleeping is quietness. If this is not possible, the entire experience will be greatly compromised.

This is my first time staying in a youth hostel. It’s almost all self-catering. The price is good for the health and environment. There are also signs everywhere reminding you of silent check-in, and there are also dedicated rooms for public socializing. Overall it meets my expectations.
