Baixi Oriental Aesthetics Garden Homestay (The Mixc Longyan South Road Food Street)

What initially drew me to this guesthouse online was the picture of its entrance; it looked so cozy and serene. My stay, from check-in to check-out, was absolutely delightful. It was my first time in Shantou, and since this area is quite old, finding a parking spot was tough. I called the front desk, and a lovely staff member came down to meet us at our parking spot. She was so thoughtful, helping us with our luggage the entire way. After we arrived, she showed us three different rooms. Since it was after the May Day holiday, there weren't many guests, so she offered us a free upgrade. However, we ultimately decided to stick with our original booking, the tatami room. The room's amenities are top-notch, featuring smart home technology with Xiao Ai (a smart assistant). She responds instantly to commands, so you don't even have to get out of bed to turn off the lights – it's truly fantastic! This guesthouse provides incredibly attentive service. The aromatherapy scent in the guesthouse was lovely, and the soft background music was a nice touch that I personally appreciated. They proactively informed us that the KTV downstairs might be noisy and even provided earplugs. Any messages sent to customer service were met with instant replies. At 4 AM, I messaged customer service about hearing singing from the KTV, and they responded immediately and handled the situation very quickly. Their efficiency is truly impressive! They also prepare your preferred breakfast a day in advance. There's a great variety, and the setting is beautiful, making for a very comfortable stay. The service here surpasses many five-star hotels.

The room was exquisite, spacious, and very clean, with excellent bedding. The facilities were also comprehensive. The hotel's location is super convenient, with plenty of amenities nearby. The service was incredibly attentive and enthusiastic; they brought us water multiple times, reimbursed our parking fee when we checked out, and even gave our child many delicious local treats. They walked us all the way to the elevator. Next time we're in Shantou, we'll definitely stay here again! ✌️

This was the most delightful homestay I've ever experienced in Shantou! When my taxi first pulled up, I noticed the building itself looked a bit old, but stepping inside, the homestay was a completely different world. The oriental aesthetic design was so pleasing to the eye. Both the courtyard landscaping and the room decor were just perfect, making it incredibly photogenic. I realized the entire homestay is designed like an oriental garden, with a small landscape and dry garden right at the entrance, instantly setting a fantastic mood. The wooden furniture and warm lantern lighting in the room truly created a tranquil oasis in the bustling city. What's more, the room was impeccably clean, and the service was genuinely excellent. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shantou! Very satisfied, haha.

The hotel is located in an older commercial building, but once you step inside, it's a pleasant surprise – very clean and comfortable, with a tasteful decor. The front desk service was excellent, and they even gave us complimentary breakfast. Downstairs is Longyan South Road snack street, so it's super convenient for food, accommodation, and getting around. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shantou.

This B&B, with its Oriental garden design, is absolutely stunning! Every photo turned out amazing. It's so peaceful and spotlessly clean, and they even provide breakfast. We were so pleasantly surprised to have booked such a wonderful place for our trip to Shantou. My best friend and I agree, we'll definitely be staying here again next time we visit Shantou.

You could tell the owner put a lot of thought and care into everything – from the well-maintained greenery to the amenities and furniture, all simple yet sophisticated. The bedding in the room was top-notch, both in color scheme and comfort. The decorative paintings and the solid wood coffee table in the room were refreshing touches. The guesthouse facilities were excellent, and the breakfast was simple yet delicious, featuring authentic local ingredients. Every staff member was incredibly friendly, providing thoughtful service without being intrusive. This is exactly how a guesthouse should be. I'll definitely be back! ❤️
