The most surprising thing about this trip was choosing this homestay! I must give the boss and the homestay a big five-star praise! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Great value for money, the lowest price in the scenic area! Before coming, I compared the prices of several homestays in the scenic area, and this one is really the most affordable! But I didn't expect that low price does not mean low quality at all, but I gained an experience far beyond my expectations!
The venue is spacious and free, and there are many entertainment projects! The venue of the homestay is really big! Not only is there a well-maintained large lawn where children and dogs can run around, but also cows and sheep come in in the afternoon. In addition, there is an awesome fish pond! This is a paradise for people who like fishing (like us!), and the fish caught can be directly processed by the boss, and the freshness is full! 🌿🎣
The scenery is picturesque and refreshing! The environment is nothing to say, it is close to the mountains and water (pond), with a wide view. Sitting in the yard or on the lawn, looking at the scenery in front of you, I feel that the whole person's fatigue has dissipated, especially relaxing and comfortable.
Enjoy the taste of the farmhouse! Dinner is a highlight! The free-range chicken raised by the boss is firm and delicious, and the cooking method is authentic. We are full of praise for it! What's even more amazing is the salmon in the pond, which is cooked to order, very tender and has no fishy smell at all. This dinner is definitely the highlight of the trip! 🍗🐟
The boss is enthusiastic and the service is super considerate! The boss is really nice! We arrived at the B&B late at night, and the boss has been communicating patiently on the phone. The big sister who greeted us is particularly hospitable and responsive. This kind of thoughtfulness and convenience is really not something that all B&Bs can do. Thank you so much! 🙏

I arrived at this hotel after a long day. It was raining and snowing, so I didn't mind paying a high price for this hotel room. Tiger Leaping Gorge is not far away, so this is a tourist area with really beautiful sights.
Even though the kitchen was closed, they still prepared a huge dinner for me.
Restaurants and shops nearby otherwise.

計劃去虎跳峽徒步，路過大具鄉時已經天黑了，臨時決定在又見雪山住一晚。本來沒有多大的期待，結果處處是驚喜。民宿非常新，聽説才開業不久。房間很寬敞，衞生間乾淨衞生，還是智能馬桶。最驚喜的是樓上有一個大平台，晚上在上面賞月，早上看日出，玉龍雪山和哈巴雪山一眼望盡。

位置絕了，推開門就是日照金山的震撼畫面，雪山近在眼前，傍晚坐在帳篷外看着金色的陽光灑在雪山頂上，隨手拍都是大片，視覺享受直接拉滿！
帳篷裏的設施也完全不輸正經酒店，乾淨又舒適，一點沒有露營的簡陋感。營地的佈置很用心，木質平台、石子路搭配雪山背景，氛圍感直接拉滿，工作人員也特別熱情，有什麼需求都能及時迴應。
在這兒住的每一天都覺得超級治癒，絕對是川西之行最驚喜的一站，已經安利給所有要去川西的朋友了，下次來還選這兒！

This trip was originally planned to only involve visiting Dali, but on Thursday morning I suddenly had the idea to go to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain to see the golden sunrise. I searched for many guesthouses online and finally chose the 5-star rated Yulong Manchun Snow Mountain Guesthouse. Upon arriving at Manchun, the entire Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was in sight. A newlywed couple was taking wedding photos on the lawn in front of the guesthouse. The bright moonlight at night created a romantic and warm atmosphere, and the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain had a unique charm at night. The next day, the golden sunrise was stunning. This time, the golden sunrise witnessed another couple taking wedding photos. After breakfast, the guesthouse provided a free shuttle service for us to visit Blue Moon Valley.

MM235970****Facilities: The facilities are excellent, meeting all guest needs. The heated floors, washing machine, and dryer are particularly convenient and thoughtful. The soundproofing in the room is fantastic, coupled with soft bedding, ensuring a great night's sleep. The fireplace humidifier in the room largely alleviated the dryness of Yunnan's climate.
Cleanliness: The entire room underwent thorough disinfection, and the floors were very clean and tidy. The kids even ran around barefoot or in socks without a problem. Room cleaning was also done according to guest requests.
Environment: The room offers direct views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. You can experience the romantic 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight' phenomenon right from your room around 8:00 AM. It's only 1km from Baisha Old Town, making taxis and food delivery very convenient. The hotel even offers thoughtful shuttle services to Baisha Old Town for guests. Plus, it's a pet-friendly hotel – thumbs up!👍
Service: Overall, everything was excellent, but I believe the service deserves the most praise! All the hotel staff were incredibly friendly, responsive to questions, and proactive in resolving issues. They answered every question and fulfilled every request! They actively inquired about guest needs; for example, they switched to a larger van for us, fearing the children would get cold. Knowing we had an early start the next day, they delivered breakfast bags in advance, and when they found out we were going to see the snow mountain, they sent oxygen tanks ahead of time… and so much more.
Summary: I initially thought I was just paying for the view (a hotel close to the snow mountain), but it turned out I paid for an accommodation experience packed with value! I had a wonderful and enjoyable time. I wish the hotel continued success, a massive boom in 2026, and prosperity for everyone!

Tucked away in Xingshan Village, Baisha Ancient Town, this secret B&B offers a tranquil escape from the crowds of the old town, featuring only snow-capped mountains, meadows, starry nights, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Manxian Bay is more than just an B&B; it's a sanctuary that encourages you to slow down and truly experience the essence of life.

Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay.
Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out.
YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful.
First impressions were great.
As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing.
I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable.
Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup.
There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby.
Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin.
The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing.
The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay.
I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.

The welcome milk tea upon arrival was impressive, and the hotel also offers latte, hot chocolate, homemade wine, white wine, red wine, and an abundance of fresh fruit all day long – truly a fruit paradise. The daily activity schedule is also very thoughtful, with the hotel providing timely updates via WeChat groups, including breakfast reminders, various activity options throughout the day, afternoon tea, and evening sleep-aid drinks.
The environment is clean and comfortable, and the service is meticulous. Staying over Christmas, they even arranged fireworks in the evening, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
Overall, the entire experience offered great value for money, and I would be willing to stay here again.

Whether you're relaxing in your room, enjoying tea and a book, or venturing out for a horse ride or hike to Yuhu Lake for some fresh air and mushroom foraging in the woods, it's all about savoring slow living. The high-altitude winds effortlessly sweep away any urban worries you might have brought with you.
At every turn, the designer has placed a soft, non-glaring light and many cleverly conceived details. The common areas are stocked with a wide selection of books, creating a sense of relaxation and peace in every corner.
The assistant, a charming and kind woman who has traveled the world before returning to her hometown, is truly exceptional. Having worked for many years in natural ecological education at the UN, she's a favorite among children, offering a variety of engaging themed activities daily.
The dining experience is also delightful; both breakfast and dinner are hearty, and the ingredients are fresh and safe, offering complete peace of mind.

GGuest UserWe stayed here for 2 nights and our stay was wonderful. The location was great and super convenient to Yulong Snow Mountain and the two ancient towns (白沙和束河）. We especially loved the farm owned by the hotel ans the farm animals were all very adorable. It was very lucky that a baby lamb was born on the second day.
The room was also clean and the staffs were all very friendly and helpful. We highly recommended this hotel to others who love nature and farm animals.

Then I discovered that the hotel's room types are truly the highlight. I stayed in the 270-degree snow mountain panorama terrace room 🏔️, which featured large floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides, and directly in front was Lijiang's Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. In winter, you could witness the stunning 'golden-lit mountains' phenomenon before 8:00 AM.
Beyond that, the hotel is conveniently located about 1km from Baisha Ancient Town. They also offer travel photography services, sweet soups, afternoon tea, Pu'er tea tasting, and more. The lobby even has a fireplace, creating a cozy and photogenic atmosphere. Around 14:00 (this seems like a typo, maybe 4 PM or 'picture 14'?), the front desk delivered a sweet soup at night. Taking a bath and enjoying the soup made for a perfectly comfortable day in Lijiang 🌙.

Service: The location is very easy to find, and there's a parking lot right next to the guesthouse, which is super convenient for those driving. For guests taking public transport to Lijiang, the owner personally picks them up and drops them off. When we went to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the owner woke up early to prepare breakfast for us in advance and thoughtfully provided bottled water, oxygen, and small cakes.
Food: The breakfast rice noodles were delicious, and there were also mini wontons, tea eggs, fruit, small sweet sausages. The coffee and afternoon tea were also excellent, with freshly baked waffles and small cakes that all tasted great.
Environment: The air conditioning was strong, so it wasn't cold at all. The bed was very comfortable, and on the second morning, we could even see the 'Golden Mountain' (referring to the sunrise on the snow-capped mountains) from our room's balcony. It's especially suitable for those who love to relax and enjoy a quiet atmosphere.

CChoo1234.5 stars. Almost perfect . I wish I could give it 5 stars but have some disappointments and rough around the edges.
A unique resort. The places is beautiful and harmony with nature. We stayed 5 days, 4 nights and didn't feel the need to leave the resort at all.
Picturesque scenery. You come here to relax, wall and enjoy the fresh air, and take a million photos. Tea break at their stunning cliff side cafe is inclusive. Also singing and drinking after dinner was a warm experience.
Food was delicious, although more variety would be appreciated for long stay guests.
The pet dogs and cats deserve their own 5 stars! Super friendly and tame - our kids loved playing with them. The staff treated and trained the animals really well. Horses for riding (extra fee) was a great experience. Next time will take lessons.
Service was warm and sincere. Always with a smile. The staff was genuine, friendly, polite, helpful. I cannot say enough good things about them.
They really tried to give their best to meet our needs. I felt really at home and we were treated very well.
The negatives.
Things are inconsistent. We had a beautiful skylight to see stars but it was so dirty that we can hardly see through. Cleaning apparently was difficult and couldn't be done, so what's the use ? Our safe was locked by the previous guest and they did not have the ability to reset and open. So we couldn't use it.
Our rooms was not cleaned on day 3 and 4. On day 4. they just replenished items. Didn't clean or throw away rubbish.
Toilets at the cliffside cafe is terrible state, nobody wash? One dinner, waited for our vegetables for 30 mins. When we asked ”why is it taking long?”, they say ”sorry out of stock'. So had to cancel. Coffee machine had problems , milk tube or valve clogged? could not make milk drinks (e.g cappuccino, latte) during last 2 days.
Archery had many broken arrows , less than half can be used.
They also offered cup noodles for free! Ask us if we wanted. Very nice gesture, but then they say ”sorry no more cup noodles”. Did not replenish during our trip.
Overall an excellent experience, would come again. Could be perfect, but given the price , I would not expect to encounter these negatives mentioned.

Watching the snow-capped peaks slowly transform from steely grey to shimmering gold, with the first rays of light touching my face, it felt as if even the wind held its breath. This sheer, majestic grandeur is a moment no filter could ever hope to capture.
The evening bonfire party truly embodied the most vibrant and authentic local atmosphere. As dusk settled, the bonfire by the entrance sprang to life. Naxi aunties led everyone in traditional 'datiao' dances, the firewood crackled merrily, and songs mixed with laughter echoed up the hillside. We drank local rice wine and joined the circle, feeling the day's serene tranquility transition seamlessly into the lively energy of the night.
From the 'Golden Mountain' at dawn to the late-night bonfire, from the stunning mountain views from our room to the fresh scent of flora and fauna with every breath, this place perfectly blends the refined elegance of 'French-inspired rustic luxury' with the genuine, untouched spirit of Lijiang's wilderness. It creates a compelling reason to want to return and stay here again and again. Next time I visit Lijiang, I'll definitely be staying here again!
