I stayed in the suite at this hotel. It was a great and very comfortable stay. Everything about the suite was elegant and built for comfort. The hotel has a restaurant that makes delicious Yunnan inspired dishes. The yak stew and the potato dishes were especially good. The staff was nice and friendly although language presented a barrier. (Thankfully there are translation apps.). The pool was a little weird though. It's presented more like a pond in the middle of the hotel rooms. There seems to be only one access point to the pool and there is zero seating. Its rimmed by plants and trees. Very strange. But thats the only criticism of the hotel. Everything else meets and exceeds expectations of a hotel. And its within walking distance of the old town.

It is what a good hotel should be like. The room is clean and the bedding is impeccable. The water temperature is suitable and they thoughtfully inform you that bathing in plateau areas should not take more than 10 minutes. The front desk staff are also very nice. The breakfast at Shangri-La is also rich and delicious. The key point is that you can tell from the name that the room can supply oxygen (you need to contact the front desk for oxygen supply service). You can go hiking at night without worry. You don’t have to worry about high reflexes. Anyway, you can breathe oxygen while lying on your own bed, so you have peace of mind😼

location is great for the town and Nappa Hai Lake which was awesome.A beautiful hotel full of culture. Beds are the comfiest in the world! Carol on reception was superb and help us out of a very stressful situation when the airport was closed because of snow. We were exceptionally grateful for her excellent english skills. Mark the waiter/ noodle chef was also extremely helpful. He spoke no English but was very patient with my Chinese. Many staff were off sick with covid as it was a few days after restrictions were lifted when we visited. Still everyone was working twice as hard to cover their colleagues. This lead to one of our rooms not being cleaned one day. Not the end of the world. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Checking in during the off-season, we seemed to be the only group of guests in the hotel. The surrounding area was very quiet, the room facilities were complete, and the stay was very comfortable. I have stayed in many hotels in Shangrila old town over the past 12 years so have a little experience. Location: Close to the top dancing square but at the top of a very steep hill. It had rained so the stone street was VERY slippery. It is close to impossible to walk up the hill with suitcase. There is a 1/2 meter wide ***** of carpet that was laid down on the right side of the road going up the hill. It gave great traction, but unfortunately some non-thinking person had parked their electric cart directly on top of the carpet so you could not navigate it. I arrived at 6 PM and that electric cart was still sitting on the carpet in the same place the next morning at 9 AM. Trying to walk around the electric cart , but I did slip and fell to the ground. I would not come back to this hotel again, if there was any potential for any rain. The picture is of the morning after the rain had dried. When I booked my room, they did tell me that there was only one room remaining and it was for four people. I was solo but I booked it anyway. Unfortunately, I did not understand that there are four beds that are actually side-by-side touching each other. They are very very thin pads laid on top of a wooden platform. No way to get into or out of any bed without crawling back to the foot of the bed and going over the edge that way. It was the hardest sleeping service I have ever been on and got very little sleep. If I had my sleeping bag and camping mattress, I would’ve just slept on the floor. Won’t be back here again. The service people at the hotel were very nice. Offered to carry my bag up to my room on the third floor and the woman who provided the breakfast in the morning was very pleasant. Have no complain about the service just the beds in the access to the hotel. If it’s raining, make it a no go for me

An old four-star hotel, in Shangri-La for a round and finally stayed here, there is a year without luxury star facilities treatment, even if you go. Before sleeping, I closed the bathroom exhaust fan. Who ever thought that the room immediately felt like someone was smoking the smelly throat, and I thought about it or turned on the exhaust fan, so I didn't have this feeling. What's going on? Very nice place, the room is big, The bed very comfortable and the shower works perfectly. The bathroom was clean but some hair on the floor, but overall okay. The room is nice, Tibetan style, with complete equipment. Ms. Lazheng at the front desk helped me upgrade the suite. You can see the Dafo Temple from the front window, and the ancient city dwellings from the back window. The view is quite good. Stayed for one more night, and it rained on the second night. It was very comfortable to open the window to listen to the sound of rain at night. I was traveling alone, and La Zheng and Uncle Dawa were very friendly and enthusiastic throughout the whole process, picking up and dropping off the trip, recommending restaurants and attractions, and helping to avoid pits and lightning. The whole experience is very comfortable. I originally planned to change the hotel experience after staying for one day. It was so comfortable to stay for another night. Next time I have a chance to come to Shangri-La, I will consider staying here again. recommend!

The design of this hotel is fantastic and very photo worthy. Rooms are warm and spacious, we were incredibly warm despite the cold winter nights we had when we were there. Readily available hot water and good shower water pressures. The hotel owners were lovely and welcoming, as well as their dog mantou! The location of this hotel is not within the ancient town but a mere 10 minute walk, we did not have any issues as had transport available. Breakfast was simple but sufficient - they had fresh ground coffee which was fantastic.

The hotel has its own small flock of sheep, which are very friendly and cute. You can feed them when you have free time. Or go out to the Napa Sea grassland to watch yaks riding horses. A B&B that I must 5️⃣🌟ravely review‼ ️ It’s a very healing place. It was already at the end of the trip, but I didn’t want to leave. It will definitely be a place where I will come back countless times with my important friends to relax🥹 You can take photos of your life anywhere in the B&B. I have too many so I won’t post them otherwise I will have to upload them all night😁 P1-3 can see the scenery outside when staying in the room. We can watch the lively pictures while lying down here🗻 P4-9 There is a grassland downstairs. There are ponies, puppies and lambs. You can play with them. There are many others that I haven’t uploaded because I want to enjoy them alone hahaha🐎🐶🐑 P10 was a place where I made my own coffee. I walked around and made a cup. If you want to have afternoon tea delivered to your room, you can directly tell the person in charge of the B&B. They respond very quickly. I would like to mention something special here. You can make any request (reasonable), and you can try if it is unreasonable😏 P11: We asked the B&B if we wanted to participate in a local toast feast, and Brother Chen took us there and picked us up in the evening. You can rest assured and don’t have to think about anything else. There are food, shows, and what I like.
