The owner's service was excellent. It was my first time in Shangri-La and I found such a wonderful guesthouse with such a great owner and staff. The breakfast was delicious Western food, and they provided shuttle service. The room was very clean and tidy, the smart home system worked perfectly, and there was even a refrigerator with drinks inside – they were very thoughtful. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shangri-La; it would be a great choice!

Great family-run place! It had such nice design elements and everything in the room and hotel flows beautifully design wise whilst remaining practical (heating, humidifier & oxygen machine). Views of the prayer wheel & temple from our bedside wall to floor window and on the rooftop with location being topnotch without compromise for peace & quiet! We loved the special touches like finger tea, fruit at the front desk, delicious noodles made fresh to order for breakfast. The discount for the infamous Shangri La Zhaya Tusi banquet was also amazing and they gave us a ride there and back arranging everything for us! Great communication and super helpful — if I’m back in Shangri La I would definitely come here !

A Warm Home in Shangri-La - Definitely Choose Wufan Shanjian! The luckiest choice of my trip to Shangri-La was definitely Wufan Shanjian Light Luxury Homestay, and the biggest surprise was meeting the owner couple, a local Tibetan pair. The simplicity and enthusiasm unique to Tibetans in them filled the entire journey with warmth. From the moment we landed, we were surrounded by their thoughtfulness: they not only took the initiative to pick us up at the high-speed railway station but also carefully reminded us not to rush to take a bath just after arriving on the plateau and to remember to turn on the oxygen concentrator at night. A family member traveling with us had a bit of altitude sickness, and the landlady Zhuoma immediately brought Coke and glucose to relieve the discomfort. In the evening, she specially brought warm yak milk and fresh grapes. Even the child kept saying that Aunt Zhuoma was as kind as family. The husband was simple and enthusiastic. When he saw that we had trouble parking, he immediately helped park the car without hesitation, so we didn't have to worry at all. When we wanted to find delicious skewers or plan the route around Napahai, they could always give the most authentic suggestions and even recommend reliable stores, which were more useful than the strategies we made. The environment of the homestay is impeccable. As a person with a bit of obsessive-compulsive disorder about cleanliness, the cleanliness here completely exceeded expectations - the rooms are bright and tidy, the bed sheets and quilt covers have no peculiar smell at all, and even the bathroom is cleaned spotlessly. The facilities are also very considerate, with full-house floor heating and smart devices. The oxygen concentrator by the bed can automatically adjust the oxygen concentration, completely solving the worry about sleeping on the plateau. What's more surprising is that the location is in the center of the ancient town, only a three-minute walk to the prayer wheel, making it very convenient for shopping and dining. During the few days staying here, I was moved by the details every day: free down jackets and umbrellas, pre-prepared moisturizing masks, hot breakfast in the morning, and even after leaving, when we found that we had forgotten something, the boss would carefully send it back. This kind of warmth that is not family but better than family made the beauty of Shangri-La more concrete. Next time I come, I will definitely stay here again!

Our stay at this hotel in Shangri-La was truly the best experience we had in Yunnan. The views of 纳帕海 (Napahai Lake) were simply breathtaking — calm, expansive, and full of quiet beauty. Every morning, we woke up to a breathtaking sunrise—the soft golden light spilling across the lake, illuminating layers of mist over the water and painting the sky with pastel hues. From our window, we could see birds gracefully gliding over the lake, while horses and cows grazed peacefully in the nearby fields. The entire environment exuded serenity and peace, making it a perfect escape from the bustle of everyday life. The owner was warm and welcoming, instantly making us feel at home. There was also a friendly dog and a few cats/kittens that added a cozy and charming touch to our stay. The room was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with features like floor heating and in-room oxygen, which made acclimating to the altitude much easier. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and every dish cooked by the 厨房大姐 (the lady chef) was delicious and comforting. We left with wonderful memories and would love to come back again someday. A great place to visit with your family or friends. It’s right beside the ancient village and they offer airport and train stations shuttle service. They have very delicious breakfast. You got to try out their milk tea during breakfast. It’s one of the best I ever had. They also process you with free oxygen can if you needed.

Lovely beautiful little farm stay, warm and friendly people. you will get many stars in the night. 🤞 The dogs became our instant companions 😂 Tip: Bring cozy blankets for evening stargazing sessions and extra treats for your new four-legged friends! ❤️

We had a very pleasant stay overall. The room was exactly as described: very clean, surprisingly large, and the floor heating in the main area was a welcome feature. The location is truly excellent—easy to find, a short distance from the ancient city, and incredibly convenient for taxis. Having a supermarket right downstairs and access to fantastic local restaurants was a huge plus. The only area for improvement is the bathroom temperature. As there is no heating element, it became quite cold during the night, which was a bit uncomfortable. Despite this, we would happily return for the great value and ideal location.

We stayed here with our 6-year-old and had a wonderful experience. The hotel and rooms have a unique character, making you feel as though you are living in a cave, but with all the modern amenities you could ask for. The beds were very comfortable, and the toilet and bathroom were extremely modern—honestly one of the best shower experiences I’ve had. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and assisted us with all our needs via WeChat, which made communication very convenient. They also offer a laundry service where you can leave your clothes in a basket outside the room, and they are washed and delivered back to your room—very efficient and thoughtful. As a lovely touch, they provided a complimentary “good night sweet soup” in our room, and it was delicious. The international restaurant downstairs serves excellent food, and the staff were happy to customize dishes to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The views are absolutely breathtaking, with a stunning gorge, mountain peaks, and a river flowing below. The café is also a great spot to take beautiful photos and enjoy the scenery. Overall, it was a very pleasant and memorable stay. We truly wish we had more time here. Highly recommended!
