I stayed in the suite at this hotel. It was a great and very comfortable stay. Everything about the suite was elegant and built for comfort. The hotel has a restaurant that makes delicious Yunnan inspired dishes. The yak stew and the potato dishes were especially good. The staff was nice and friendly although language presented a barrier. (Thankfully there are translation apps.). The pool was a little weird though. It's presented more like a pond in the middle of the hotel rooms. There seems to be only one access point to the pool and there is zero seating. Its rimmed by plants and trees. Very strange. But thats the only criticism of the hotel. Everything else meets and exceeds expectations of a hotel. And its within walking distance of the old town.

location is great for the town and Nappa Hai Lake which was awesome.A beautiful hotel full of culture. Beds are the comfiest in the world! Carol on reception was superb and help us out of a very stressful situation when the airport was closed because of snow. We were exceptionally grateful for her excellent english skills. Mark the waiter/ noodle chef was also extremely helpful. He spoke no English but was very patient with my Chinese. Many staff were off sick with covid as it was a few days after restrictions were lifted when we visited. Still everyone was working twice as hard to cover their colleagues. This lead to one of our rooms not being cleaned one day. Not the end of the world. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The room is okay, I still like it. but! Next comes the important point. The climate here is very dry. It snowed on the day I came to Shangri-La and it was a little cold, so I turned on the floor heating as soon as I entered. As a result, it makes me unable to sleep at night and makes my throat sore. There is a humidifier in the room. I checked it as soon as I entered the door, but the humidifier was very dirty and I didn't dare to use it at all. This room type has no windows, so now at 4:45 in the morning, I am still opening the door to ventilate, and I really can't sleep. Everyone! Shangri-La is really awesome.

The room is a Tibetan-style hotel group. The Lightyear Hotel, Tiankui Hotel and Ziwei Hotel under the Fifth Meteorite are all together. We stayed on the third floor of the Lightyear Hotel, and the Meteorite Restaurant is on the next floor, which is very convenient. The facilities are considered to be five-star. The conditions in the plateau area may be difficult, and the breakfast varieties are relatively ordinary, but the service is normal. After check-in, an afternoon tea set is given as a gift. It is characterized by diffuse oxygen supply, which can relieve high reflexes. The location is pretty good. It takes five minutes from the front door to reach the north gate of Dukezong Ancient City. It is off-season and there are not many people. Those who want to buy souvenirs can bargain carefully. A woolen scarf priced at 45 yuan is of good quality.

An old four-star hotel, in Shangri-La for a round and finally stayed here, there is a year without luxury star facilities treatment, even if you go. Before sleeping, I closed the bathroom exhaust fan. Who ever thought that the room immediately felt like someone was smoking the smelly throat, and I thought about it or turned on the exhaust fan, so I didn't have this feeling. What's going on? I can't figure it out. Breakfast is still possible, there are vegetables and stews, as well as fruits, ☕️, 🥛, soy milk, porridge and rice noodles.

Very nice place, the room is big, The bed very comfortable and the shower works perfectly. The bathroom was clean but some hair on the floor, but overall okay. The location was great, no noisy at all and a lot of restaurants nearby. We had a late checkout and they stored our luggage while we were waiting for our flight at night. Shangri-la was amazing! The room is nice, Tibetan style, with complete equipment. Ms. Lazheng at the front desk helped me upgrade the suite. You can see the Dafo Temple from the front window, and the ancient city dwellings from the back window. The view is quite good. Stayed for one more night, and it rained on the second night. It was very comfortable to open the window to listen to the sound of rain at night. I was traveling alone, and La Zheng and Uncle Dawa were very friendly and enthusiastic throughout the whole process, picking up and dropping off the trip, recommending restaurants and attractions, and helping to avoid pits and lightning. The whole experience is very comfortable. I originally planned to change the hotel experience after staying for one day. It was so comfortable to stay for another night. Next time I have a chance to come to Shangri-La, I will consider staying here again. recommend!

The design of this hotel is fantastic and very photo worthy. Rooms are warm and spacious, we were incredibly warm despite the cold winter nights we had when we were there. Readily available hot water and good shower water pressures. The hotel owners were lovely and welcoming, as well as their dog mantou! The location of this hotel is not within the ancient town but a mere 10 minute walk, we did not have any issues as had transport available. Breakfast was simple but sufficient - they had fresh ground coffee which was fantastic.

The scenery of the hotel is unparalleled. You can see different snow-capped mountains from the front and back. The Napa Sea grassland facing the hotel is now available for horseback riding in winter, but it should be a different scenery in summer. I didn't take any photos of the room. The two windows in the double room have a great view. I sat on the window sill and read a book and looked at the beautiful scenery outside. The room was very clean and tidy. The boss is very enthusiastic and helps us solve various needs. The sunroom in the public area on the fourth floor has a great view. The dog Wangcai and the cat Shiyi at the B&B are both very cute and affectionate. Will stay here again in the summer.

This is the third time I've stayed here, and the environment really has nothing to say. Quiet and the rooms are clean. Every time the hotel will considerately arrange a room near the river, when night falls, sitting on the balcony blowing the wind. It feels really good. That's why I always choose their home. The only fly in the ointment is that there are no waiters, and many services cannot keep up. I hope the hotel can improve so that more guests can have a better experience!

Super friendly staff, convenient location just outside of Dukezong center, and perfect room! The heated floor was especially helpful during my stay when it was -5 degrees out. Staff will happily tell you what is in the area and point you in the direction of any tours happening that day, so definitely be sure to ask them for recommendations. Also, be sure to say hi to their beautiful dog!
