Passing-cloud Resort·Gaogongfu (Ancient town of Dukezong,Shangri-la)

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, far exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shangri-La: **Location:** Situated within the ancient town, it offers an immersive experience of ******* old city culture. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it super convenient, and just walking around feels wonderful. **Hotel Facilities:** Everything is top-notch quality. The architecture is all solid wood and beautifully crafted. They've thought of every single amenity, from what you'd expect to what you wouldn't. The towels, for example, are incredibly comfortable and you can even take them with you. **Attentive Service:** The butler service is superb, attentive to every single detail. It's truly impressive. They even gifted us a lovely souvenir upon departure, which was delicious. **Breakfast & Tea Time:** Considering we're at such a high altitude, the breakfast even included poached shrimp – it truly touched us, coming from coastal areas. The hotel sets a very high standard for itself, really going the extra mile. Breakfast also offered beautiful latte art coffee and delicious Chinese tea. This is a truly dedicated hotel, well worth experiencing!

The room was excellent, clean and tidy, and the mattress was just right – very comfortable. The location is superb, very close to the prayer wheel and Sifang Street, so you can explore the ancient town anytime. The rooftop viewing platform is beautiful, offering direct views of the prayer wheel and Dafo Temple. The service was also exceptional; any questions were answered immediately. Thumbs up! 👍

Two seniors stayed at the hotel. The staff were very enthusiastic, helped with the luggage, and patiently explained how to use the room's facilities. The hotel environment was comfortable, and we were very satisfied. You can see the beautiful night view of the prayer wheel from the rooftop!

The hotel has a very ******* style. The service was excellent; they arranged airport pick-up a day in advance, and at check-out, they even thoughtfully helped transfer our luggage to our next hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, absolutely stunning. Every corner is picturesque. The location is great, making it easy to get to Guishan and Sifang Street. My only complaint is the parking lot – it's a mess. It's an open-air lot, constantly crowded with no available spaces, and it really tests your driving skills. Overall, though, I'd still recommend it. The butler service was also excellent.

Once again, I found myself in Shangri-La, and once again, I checked into Bolian Clouds Inn. A sense of familiarity washed over me. As I stepped into the room, I was momentarily confused, wondering which room type I had booked. The butler kindly informed me that the hotel had upgraded me to a suite free of charge. I was so happy and touched! Their thoughtful service is consistently excellent. The mini-bar in the lobby offers delicious fruits, pastries, and soft drinks, and the coffee, in particular, is fantastic. Breakfast, as always, was delightful. The entire hotel is incredibly photogenic, and its layout and design exude an artistic flair. As someone who rarely writes reviews, I wholeheartedly give this place a five-star recommendation.

Extremely satisfied! I canceled another reservation and stayed here for three nights straight. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. The afternoon tea in the lobby was delicious, and the coffee was great. The owner was also very welcoming and accommodating! The service was excellent, and they were always ready to help!

The old town generally didn't feel very clean to me, but this guesthouse was an exception – the hygiene was good, and the facilities were sufficient. However, the overall service isn't quite on par with a star-rated hotel. For example, during the pick-up, communication wasn't as proactive as it could have been. Overall, it's a positive review.

The room was fantastic, full of history and culture, yet the facilities were new, excellent, and very thoughtful. This must be the best hotel in the old town. I stayed for two days, and it was super convenient for dining and exploring the old town, very close to Sifang Street and the large prayer wheel. The hotel offers airport pick-up/drop-off service and can also arrange a private car. It's also very close to the parking lot. The butler service was excellent; I felt very secure staying here. The butler helped resolve any issues, making it a very pleasant trip.
