Banyan Tree Ringha

I first visited Banyan Tree 20 years ago, and this is my second time back! With so many hotel options, I chose Banyan Tree Ringha again because it's truly worth it! The staff member who helped me with check-in not only assisted with my luggage but also arranged a riverside cabin for me. The natural white noise of the river flowing 24/7 is incredibly therapeutic, complemented by the natural music of cows and sheep. The lemongrass-scented hot towel at check-in was as refreshing as ever – thank you! Ligil, who contacted me for 48 hours, was also very thoughtful and basically granted every request. The restaurant was wonderfully warm; the hot dishes we ordered on the first day were incredibly delicious, I was so full but couldn't put my chopsticks down. The 'double eight bowls' on the second day were more ordinary and a bit too salty for my taste – I wouldn't recommend them. Breakfast was very rich, beautifully presented, and delicious! Most importantly, the restaurant thoughtfully arranged for us to sit outdoors, where we could enjoy the sun, the view, and the mountain breeze. The cleanliness of the room was even better than my first visit. It's hard to imagine how much time it takes to clean a 300+ square meter house; we tried our best to wear indoor slippers inside to avoid troubling the cleaning staff. The only regrets were that the hot water supply for showering (after 11 PM) was insufficient on both nights, and the water temperature was quite cool, as well as the butter lamp making activity being poor value for money. Overall, I would still choose Banyan Tree Ringha next time!

Initially, the room's style took a bit of getting used to, but the surrounding scenery was absolutely stunning. After breakfast, I felt incredibly good, and the service at Banyan Tree, a renowned brand, truly stands out. I immediately decided to extend my stay for another night. Sister Az at the restaurant was especially warm and attentive. The meal vouchers provided by the hotel were also a nice touch; both the Chinese lunch and dinner were delicious. The incense in the room smelled wonderful too, so much so that I bought three boxes to take home when I left. My experience at Banyan Tree Shangri-La felt completely uncommercialized for a big hotel; it was very thoughtful. I hope to return in the snow to enjoy afternoon tea by the river valley below the hotel—that sounds incredibly romantic.

Staying for four consecutive days was truly comfortable. Banyan Tree, as a brand, offers one of the best resort experiences out there. I remember once deliberating between Banyan Tree and another brand before heading to Shangri-La, and I ultimately chose Banyan Tree. I just love the tranquility of this place.

Banyan Tree's environment, scenery, and service are all top-notch, truly beyond words. Before we even arrived, our butler called to connect with us. Our room was equipped with an oxygen concentrator and humidifier, and welcome fruits and a small gift were already placed in the room before we got there. It was raining lightly when we arrived, and our butler (Jay) had thoughtfully prepared hot towels and ginger tea at the front desk. Such meticulous attention to detail!

The hotel environment is nice, and the breakfast offers a good variety. Our butler, Alicia, was very attentive. The room has a ******* style, but it's quite dark. What I didn't like was that the bathroom is on the first floor while the bedroom is on the second, and there are 13 steps on the staircase, which is very inconvenient. You can see the stars at night though.

The room was beautiful and spacious, with lovely Tibetan-style decor. Just a heads-up though, I was traveling with elderly family members and they found it quite inconvenient that the bathroom was downstairs, requiring them to use the stairs, especially at night. It seems this is the design throughout the entire hotel. Also, the oxygen machine is for nasal use only, not a room diffuser, which I hope they clarify in the description. The service was great, and a big thanks to Jay for helping resolve the voucher issue. And watching the horses nearby was incredibly relaxing!

I had a fantastic two-night stay at the Banyan Tree Ringha, and the entire trip was perfect. I absolutely have to leave a glowing review! The hotel is nestled in the Ringha Valley, with tranquil and restorative standalone Tibetan-style farmhouses. The mountains, streams, and prayer flags create an impeccable setting. However, what truly impressed me most was the consistently excellent service from all the staff. From the moment I arrived, the concierge staff proactively helped with luggage and guided me, always with warmth and politeness. Staff across all departments – housekeeping, dining, and butler service – were gentle and courteous, always greeting guests and responding quickly to any requests. During my stay, I encountered a minor issue, which the staff handled efficiently and professionally, communicating patiently and thoroughly. Their solution was very satisfying, with no hint of perfunctory service at any point. I want to particularly commend Alicia at the front desk! During check-in, she meticulously explained the hotel facilities, nearby routes, and unique experiences. She also thoughtfully reminded me about precautions for high-altitude travel, maintaining a professional yet gentle demeanor throughout. Later, when I had online inquiries, she responded promptly and handled everything thoughtfully, coordinating to resolve my requests appropriately. Her professionalism and approachability truly enhanced my stay. All staff provided consistently excellent service, treating guests with genuine warmth and attention to detail, creating an incredibly cozy and authentic ******* atmosphere. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or to experience ******* culture, the Banyan Tree Ringha is well worth a special trip. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shangri-La, and I wish all the staff the very best!

The hotel's environment is fantastic, nestled in a valley right by a stream, making it incredibly peaceful. The restaurant is also quite good, probably one of the best in the area. I highly recommend the afternoon tea by the river; the hotel sets up a canopy, tables, and chairs for you, and you can enjoy tea brewed over an open fire – it's a truly picturesque experience.
