Five stars, highly recommended! This was the most delightful hidden gem I discovered during my trip to Shangri-La! The location is superb, right in the heart of Dukezong Ancient Town. It's just a two or three-minute walk to the Giant Prayer Wheel at Dafo Temple, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the old town and visiting attractions. It's peaceful yet central, away from the street noise, and the atmosphere is just right. The overall design blends traditional ******* heritage with French minimalist art. The courtyard is beautifully landscaped with varied greenery, offering picturesque scenes at every turn. The rooftop viewing terrace provides expansive views, overlooking the entire ancient town's scattered rooftops and the golden peaks of the Buddhist temples. Watching the sunset cast its glow over the ancient town's roofs in the evening is incredibly therapeutic. The room details are exceptionally thoughtful. Knowing the challenges of high-altitude travel, it's equipped with full floor heating, individual oxygen concentrators, and humidifiers, completely eliminating worries about the drastic temperature changes between day and night or altitude sickness. The bedding is fluffy and soft, the smart control system is easy to operate, and the wet/dry separation bathroom is clean and tidy, ensuring maximum comfort during your stay. Both the owner and staff are warm and attentive. They offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off services, and upon check-in, you receive a warm ginger tea and a late-night yogurt. In your free time, you can also experience ******* incense and Thangka painting workshops, providing an immersive experience of local ******* culture. The Tibetan-style dining area in the public space has a fantastic ambiance, and the afternoon tea uses quality ingredients. The hardware, service, and location are all impeccable, combining artistic quality with a welcoming travel atmosphere. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation in Dukezong, and I will choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shangri-La.

The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. The guesthouse exceeded our expectations; it was very clean and spacious, and its location right by the East Gate made getting around super convenient. The owners not only provided pick-up and drop-off services but also gave us souvenirs. We'll definitely stay here again next time!

Nestled right inside Dukezong Ancient Town, this guesthouse is a popular photo-op spot for many tourists, and directly across from a lovely cake and coffee shop. The owners are incredibly warm, patient, and always ready to help with anything you need. The rooms are spacious and bright, the courtyard is beautifully designed, and everything is super clean with comfortable bedding. I highly recommend staying here! The yogurt for breakfast is delicious, and the coffee is excellent too. The owners are very diligent and efficient, and so friendly – they even helped carry our luggage up and down, offering service better than a five-star hotel. It was truly heartwarming and thoughtful.

The hotel boasts an excellent location at the foot of Guishan Park, making it convenient to get anywhere. It offers a tranquil escape from the bustling city, with quiet nights ensuring a good rest. The facilities are new and complete, and the hygiene is excellent. They even provide a herbal foot bath. The owner is incredibly warm and thoughtful. When we were pressed for time leaving, the owner personally drove us to the airport in their private car. Their driving skills were superb, and we made our flight perfectly. As a parting gift, they even gave us dairy products.

🏔️ The biggest surprise of my Shangri-La trip was definitely this Tibetan-style B&B! The location is absolutely perfect, right at the foot of Dukezong Ancient City. It's walking distance to both the Prayer Wheel and Sifang Street. The ******* decor in the room was very authentic and the breakfast was delicious. What I want to praise most, though, is the incredible service from the owner and staff – super warm and genuine! Not only did they arrange airport/station transfers, but they also shared so much local culture and customs with us along the way. That feeling of being truly at home is rare and wonderful. I highly recommend staying here if you're coming to Shangri-La!

The hotel environment is great, right near Guishan Park, making it convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, with oxygen supply, an accelerator, and a mini-fridge, which felt very cozy. Both the hotel owner and staff were very welcoming and provided excellent service. There was afternoon tea every day, and for a two-night stay, we even got complimentary pickup and drop-off from the station. The driver sister the owner arranged for our private tour was also very responsible. When we left, the owner even gave us a souvenir! Friends can stay here with confidence.

They greeted us every time we came and went, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was generous every morning, and they also offered afternoon tea and yogurt or milk at night. The room's balcony had a beautiful view, and you could even hear the prayer wheels turning.

The room was very clean and the service was excellent. We stayed for three days and it was cleaned thoroughly every single day. The facilities and environment inside were also very new. As for the location, it was simply amazing, in a word: perfect!
