Pro: Room can see beautiful scenery. Very remote and breath taking view. This is what one pays for. Need to improve: Front desk service non-Existence, need training and improvements. We had a confirmed time with front desk for hotel staff /driver to take us to the designated scenic spots in the hotel vicinity. This was included as part of accommodation package. Late at night, front desk contacted and informed us that the previously agreed and confirmed starting time would have to be delayed by 1 hour, to ‘suit other guests’. Firstly, front desk previously confirmed scenic spot visits were one-to-one but was changed/combined with another big group of guests. Secondly, why was confirmed appointment time changed to suit other guests? We were guests too, and all guests must be treated equally. At the end, through our insistence, the original confirmed time was honoured by front desk, but our treatment by front desk staff is totally unacceptable

Location up high on the mountain. Only have hotel restaurants. My family and another couple friends were assigned rooms that are so cold (11 Deg C in early Apr) including the bed that our guide tried to contact the receptionist to help us adjust the heater. But no one came. So my husband has to personally climb approx. 50 stairs to go to the main lobby as there is no phone in the room. Someone came & tried to adjust it but he said that was the best he could do and asked us to wait for 10 min to see if the heater was working but it didn’t. I asked for a change of room. I have to climb the stairs to the assigned new room to check if the heater is warm. When all ok, then we moved our stuff. The rooms above the main building has different heater and is comfortably warm. Wasted 1.5 hrs of our rest time when we were so tired. Next the bed is hard but the pillows are too soft. Breakfast is just adequate but taste bland. They are helpful but difficult to contact them without physically climb stairs to meet them. In summary, you need a car and ability to climb stairs to stay here.

Book a hotel in Balagzong, the price-performance ratio is very high. It includes tickets, breakfast, and tour rebates. The hotel environment is very comfortable and the place is super beautiful. The hotel is in the Balagzong scenic area. You can drive in by yourself by looking at the hotel order at the entrance. Although the mountain road is winding, there are not many cars and it is very comfortable to drive. You can drive all the way to the hotel parking lot in Balagzong. The room is large and the facilities are pretty good in the mountainous area. The key is to open the window to see the view and the air is super good. The housekeeper enthusiastically helped us arrange the entire itinerary, and there was a car to pick us up and drop us off. The magnificent canyon and pagoda were really worth the trip. I ate Nisi earthen pot chicken in the restaurant opposite for two meals in a row, and the taste was excellent. I came here ten years ago, and this time I revisited the old place. I hope I will have the opportunity to come to Balagzong again next time.

If you are visiting the Balagzong Scenic Area, it is recommended to book a hotel in the scenic area and drive in. The hotel is fully equipped with air conditioning and heating in the room. It only takes 5 minutes to walk to the lobby and any restaurant, and each room will have a butler to arrange the itinerary for you.

In fact, Balagzong is really an underestimated scenic spot. The investment in the overall scenic spot can be seen to be very large, and it is not easy to operate. The scenery is very favorite for me, especially the top Shambhala Pagoda. Our family lives in a hotel inside the scenic spot, so it is very easy to play. And the room butler service is very good, and the play time will be arranged according to the itinerary. Dukezong Ancient Town or Diqing Airport Pickup Station: This service is very cost-effective. We specially chose this project before booking the hotel. It is a very convenient service for outsiders. My child likes the canyon zipline very much. At first, he was a little worried that he would be scared, but it was still very good after sitting on it. I personally observed that the steel rope of the zipline is still very thick. The whole family feels that it is worth coming again in different seasons after playing as a whole! In fact, two days are enough for the overall scenic spot. If you don’t stay in the scenic spot, it is completely enough to get up early and take the tourist special line from Dukezong Ancient Town for one day. We chose to stay in the scenic spot and play slowly because we thought that the family would be more relaxed.

The price is a little high, but acceptable, after all, it is in the scenic area, and it also includes tickets and transportation for two people, which feels worth the money. The breakfast is average, it is pre-prepared dishes

The ******* guy who received us was very handsome and considerate. He arranged the itinerary after checking in. Bala Village is a ******* village with a story. If the itinerary to Shangri-La allows, you can stay in the mountains for one night to experience the fairyland. It seems that there is nothing special if you come here alone.

The room was very satisfactory. We drove directly to the hotel. The hotel housekeeper made warm arrangements. The bed was comfortable and we could see the scenery outside directly. We lived in the scenic area and did not have to rush to go to various attractions. We had a good rest.

The hotel upgraded my room type. The room has its own small terrace, welcome fruits, a large bed with comfortable bedding, and a large bathroom with a large bathtub. I took a bath there.
