I stayed in the suite at this hotel. It was a great and very comfortable stay. Everything about the suite was elegant and built for comfort. The hotel has a restaurant that makes delicious Yunnan inspired dishes. The yak stew and the potato dishes were especially good. The staff was nice and friendly although language presented a barrier. (Thankfully there are translation apps.). The pool was a little weird though. It's presented more like a pond in the middle of the hotel rooms. There seems to be only one access point to the pool and there is zero seating. Its rimmed by plants and trees. Very strange. But thats the only criticism of the hotel. Everything else meets and exceeds expectations of a hotel. And its within walking distance of the old town.

It is what a good hotel should be like. The room is clean and the bedding is impeccable. The water temperature is suitable and they thoughtfully inform you that bathing in plateau areas should not take more than 10 minutes. The front desk staff are also very nice. The breakfast at Shangri-La is also rich and delicious. The key point is that you can tell from the name that the room can supply oxygen (you need to contact the front desk for oxygen supply service). You can go hiking at night without worry. You don’t have to worry about high reflexes. Anyway, you can breathe oxygen while lying on your own bed, so you have peace of mind😼

location is great for the town and Nappa Hai Lake which was awesome.A beautiful hotel full of culture. Beds are the comfiest in the world! Carol on reception was superb and help us out of a very stressful situation when the airport was closed because of snow. We were exceptionally grateful for her excellent english skills. Mark the waiter/ noodle chef was also extremely helpful. He spoke no English but was very patient with my Chinese. Many staff were off sick with covid as it was a few days after restrictions were lifted when we visited. Still everyone was working twice as hard to cover their colleagues. This lead to one of our rooms not being cleaned one day. Not the end of the world. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Staff were friendly and kind. The reception is very welcoming and courteous! The location is good with it being half way between Songzanlin Monastery and Old Town.I would like to thank Vivian four her help. We did not have a car to take us back to the hotel in Pudacuo National Park, and she immediately asked her colleague to pick us up.

There is a roof outside the tent, and each tent has its own bathroom. 3⃣️There are props to create the atmosphere (such as Marshall speakers, Stanley thermos bottles, rechargeable and solar camping lights). 4⃣️There is a coffee shop and Western restaurant where you can have a simple meal. The coffee beans and coffee machine are very good, but the camp owner's coffee making skills are better when the coffee shop manager is around. 【shortcoming】 1⃣️Boss, have you noticed that the screen windows of some tents are broken❗️P6❗️There are two screen windows in a tent and they are like this❗️ 2⃣️Although the tent has a separate bathroom, the bathroom door does not open inside the tent, which means that you need to go outside to go to the bathroom. It will be cold in winter and there will be insects in summer. 3⃣️Each tent has such a good terrace, but the tent is not equipped with any tea bags and coffee❓❓❓The restaurant in the camp only has tea. If you need to drink coffee, you can only go to the coffee shop. This is probably a bug.

The room is okay, I still like it. but! Next comes the important point. The climate here is very dry. It snowed on the day I came to Shangri-La and it was a little cold, so I turned on the floor heating as soon as I entered. As a result, it makes me unable to sleep at night and makes my throat sore. There is a humidifier in the room. I checked it as soon as I entered the door, but the humidifier was very dirty and I didn't dare to use it at all. This room type has no windows, so now at 4:45 in the morning, I am still opening the door to ventilate, and I really can't sleep. Everyone! Shangri-La is really awesome.

The room is a Tibetan-style hotel group. The Lightyear Hotel, Tiankui Hotel and Ziwei Hotel under the Fifth Meteorite are all together. We stayed on the third floor of the Lightyear Hotel, and the Meteorite Restaurant is on the next floor, which is very convenient. The facilities are considered to be five-star. The conditions in the plateau area may be difficult, and the breakfast varieties are relatively ordinary, but the service is normal. After check-in, an afternoon tea set is given as a gift. It is characterized by diffuse oxygen supply, which can relieve high reflexes. The location is pretty good. It takes five minutes from the front door to reach the north gate of Dukezong Ancient City. It is off-season and there are not many people. Those who want to buy souvenirs can bargain carefully. A woolen scarf priced at 45 yuan is of good quality.

Checking in during the off-season, we seemed to be the only group of guests in the hotel. The surrounding area was very quiet, the room facilities were complete, and the stay was very comfortable. You could see the Moonlight City from the room. The car can drive directly to the door, no need to drag luggage. The hotel staff are very polite and respond immediately to everything you need. They greet you every day when you come in and out🥰The hotel is also in a very good location. It is also a short walking distance from the prayer wheel to Aoki Kitchen.

I have stayed in many hotels in Shangrila old town over the past 12 years so have a little experience. Location: Close to the top dancing square but at the top of a very steep hill. It had rained so the stone street was VERY slippery. It is close to impossible to walk up the hill with suitcase. There is a 1/2 meter wide ***** of carpet that was laid down on the right side of the road going up the hill. It gave great traction, but unfortunately some non-thinking person had parked their electric cart directly on top of the carpet so you could not navigate it. I arrived at 6 PM and that electric cart was still sitting on the carpet in the same place the next morning at 9 AM. Trying to walk around the electric cart , but I did slip and fell to the ground. I would not come back to this hotel again, if there was any potential for any rain. The picture is of the morning after the rain had dried. When I booked my room, they did tell me that there was only one room remaining and it was for four people. I was solo but I booked it anyway. Unfortunately, I did not understand that there are four beds that are actually side-by-side touching each other. They are very very thin pads laid on top of a wooden platform. No way to get into or out of any bed without crawling back to the foot of the bed and going over the edge that way. It was the hardest sleeping service I have ever been on and got very little sleep. If I had my sleeping bag and camping mattress, I would’ve just slept on the floor. Won’t be back here again. The service people at the hotel were very nice. Offered to carry my bag up to my room on the third floor and the woman who provided the breakfast in the morning was very pleasant. Have no complain about the service just the beds in the access to the hotel. If it’s raining, make it a no go for me
