The room was spacious with a great view, and the toiletries were very pleasant. The lobby manager was warm and polite, always ready to help solve any issues promptly. For Wunvzhou or Gexian Village Resort tickets, you can enter directly by scanning your ID. The shuttle bus to and from Gexian Village (at fixed times) had a very professional driver, and hotel staff even accompanied the bus to count passengers.

An exceptionally thoughtful stay – a definite five-star review!
This stay was a truly delightful surprise! From the moment we entered, the staff were incredibly welcoming and patiently guided us through the check-in process. Whether it was checking in or using the room amenities, everything was explained clearly and efficiently, eliminating any need for us to figure things out ourselves. Their attentive and considerate service was truly heartwarming.
Even more surprisingly, the hotel thoughtfully provided complimentary breakfast. The breakfast selection was plentiful, and the food was delicious – I was very satisfied.
Furthermore, I must commend the hotel's parking lot; it's incredibly spacious and convenient, making parking a breeze.
Overall, a perfect experience! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

GGuest UserWe had an amazing stay at this homestay ! The location is strategic, situated right along the main road of the nearest village to Wangxian Valley Scenic Park. Despite being in a busy area with many shops nearby, the homestay is surprisingly quiet, thanks to it good soundproofing, ensuring us a peaceful rest.
The room was exactly as shown in the pictures—very clean and well-maintained. What truly set this homestay apart was the exceptional hospitality of the lady boss and her brother. From the moment we made our booking, she was incredibly responsive on WeChat, answering all our questions and even arranging a transfer from the high-speed rail station to the homestay.
Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a free room upgrade, allowing us to stay in side-by-side rooms for the convenience of taking care of my elderly father. We arrived quite late, around 9 PM, yet we were warmly welcomed with a thoughtful gift set, including a packet of milk and some bread—such a kind gesture from the owner.
During our stay, we were also invited to join the local Chap Goh Mei celebration, which was a fantastic cultural experience for us. Breakfast was provided through vouchers, allowing us to try delicious meals from different nearby shops on both mornings.
Another highlight was the free shuttle service to Wangxian Valley. The lady boss’s brother was incredibly prompt—whenever we called, he arrived within minutes. Upon checkout, we received a beautiful set of bowls as a farewell gift, which was a lovely touch.
We were from Malaysia. This was our first time traveling free and easy in China, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The warmth and generosity of the hosts made our trip truly memorable. By the way, the lady boss also able to communicate in English. I believe this well make communication easy for those English speakers. Really highly recommended!
我们在这家云上小棧民宿度过了一次非常愉快的住宿体验！民宿位置十分优越，位于前往望仙谷景区最近的小街主干道上，周围有许多商店，但即使临街，房间依然安静，房间的隔音非常好，不受噪音影响。
房间与照片完全一致，非常干净整洁。但最让我们感动的是女老板和她弟弟无微不至的热情款待。从预订开始，女老板就在微信上非常及时地回复我们的所有问题，还贴心地帮我们安排了从高铁站到民宿的接送服务。
抵达民族宿时，我们意外收到了房间升级的惊喜，让我们可以住在相邻的房间，方便照顾年迈的父亲。我们到达时已是晚上9点，但仍然得到了热情的欢迎，老板娘还贴心地赠送了一份小礼物——一袋牛奶和面包，真的很温暖！
入住期间，老板娘还特意邀请我们参加元宵节（十五暝）前夕的当地庆祝活动，让我们大开眼界，感受到浓厚的地方文化氛围。早餐方面，民宿提供早餐券，可以前往附近的商店用餐，我们连续两天尝试了不同的店家，每家都非常美味。
民宿还提供免费接送服务前往望仙谷景区，速度极快。我们打电话，几分钟内老板娘的弟弟就会到达接送我们，十分方便。退房时，像其他客人一样，我们还收到了一份精美的瓷碗作为纪念品，真的很用心！
我们是马来西亚人，这是我们第一次在中国自由行，酒店的热情服务让整个旅程变得轻松又难忘，强烈推荐！

AAnonymous UserI want to start by sincerely thanking the uncle who works at this homestay for all his hospitality and attention. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were very well treated and taken care of. I will definitely remember our stay in Wangxian and hopefully come back to see the uncle.
My partner and I visited from Canada and I speak very little mandarin. Despite this, the uncle and the other residents of the neighborhood were very patient and helpful when communicating.
The check-in process was electronic. You scan the uncle’s QR code with your WeChat and register your information. For foreigners, it would be helpful to have WeChat running before arriving. The check-in was in Chinese, but I just screenshot the page and translated it and had no problems.
We stayed in room 301, it was a double room and true to the pictures. The cleanliness was good and it was quite confortable. There are large windows for lots of sun. The water is hot and the AC is functional, no complaints.
The homestay is very well located about a 10 minute drive from the Wangxian scenic area, and roughly an hour from Shangrao station. In the vicinity, there are many restaurants and a little supermarket.
Since it was quiet the night we checked-in, the uncle took us to visit the town nearby and gave us lots of recommendations for our visit such as going to the scenic area in the afternoon, and staying until the lights come on to see the night view.
We had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant as recommended by the uncle. The food was home-cooked and the quantities were generous. Although we ate at the neighbour’s, the uncle also has some food and beverages you can buy, as well as some tables where you can eat.
Later in the evening, the uncle and neighbours invited us to sit with them and we shared some great moments together.
The next morning, the uncle had prepared a very typical Chinese breakfast for us to try. We then went up to the scenic area around midday and came back around 7pm. When we came back, we had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant again and shared some more moments with them.
The uncle and neighbours helped us coordinate transportation to our next location and gave us recommendations to better enjoy our next destination which we followed and it turned out great thanks to them.
The community is what makes this place charming and I recommend it to anyone.

Yyihonghu****We arrived at Huangling in the evening. The winding mountain road had no streetlights, and we became increasingly confused as we drove. Luckily, the landlady came out to wait for us at the parking spot, which gave us the courage to continue driving uphill. The landlady's service was excellent; despite her small stature, she was incredibly energetic, picking up our luggage and climbing the stairs – amazing! The hotel is located near the rice terrace cable car, making it very convenient to enter and exit the scenic area. The rooms were spacious, with balconies, and the bathrooms had separate shower and toilet areas with strong water pressure, making showering very comfortable. We also had lunch at the hotel; the portions were generous and the food was delicious. They even gave us mooncakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival – such a thoughtful gesture! They also gave us a bottle of rice wine before we left – so considerate! In conclusion, this hotel offered the best value for money. I would recommend it to my friends.

GGuest UserI think I’m pretty good at finding hotels. All the way out here in the U.S., I actually managed to find this traditional-style guesthouse that you can’t even see from the road 😄. It’s wheat harvest season right now, so the owners had given their staff time off, but because we were coming, one of the owners traveled all the way from Shanghai just to host us. 🌹 Her name is Ms. Peng—she’s a university graduate from 1981 and a professional architectural designer. She designed the entire guesthouse herself. Every corner here is beautiful, and I can’t even take photos fast enough to capture it all.

We arrived at the scenic area's guesthouse center after lunch and dropped off our luggage to start exploring. We were told check-in was at 5 PM, but it actually depends on room availability and cleaning. I was able to check in before 3 PM. Each room comes with a dedicated butler. The bathroom drain was clogged, but it was fixed very quickly. They were also accommodating when I requested a late check-out. They even send helpful tips for exploring the scenic area, which was a nice touch.
The room has a large bed downstairs, and the loft has a 1.5m bed, accessible by a ladder. The room was reasonably clean, though some of the loft walls showed a bit of wear.
Getting from the room to the attractions involved quite a bit of stair climbing up and down, which was a bit tiring for the legs.

TtoffynaThe hotel location is great. It's in the center of Wangxian valley with beautiful scenic view. The amenities is well-equipped. The room is clean but not spotless. There's water stain on the floor and in the shower room when I checked in. There's huge problem in communication because we can't speak Chinese. Almost all the staffs cannot understand English. The check in process took very long. We can't redeem the free photo service that is included in the promotion of the room we selected. We arrived at the hotel around 4 PM, the photo service is available until 5 PM. We knew that we have to contact the hotel at least 24 hours before we check in. We tried to contact the hotel many times, both through Trip.com and WeChat, that we wanted the photo service. There were no response in every platform. After we checked in, we requested the staff to lead us to the photo service area. When we arrived, there were 2 customers who are in the process of makeup in the photo service. We handed the photo card to the lady in the shop. She explained that the photo card only included the costume, the makeup had additional fee, which we already knew from the start. We told her that we only need the costume, the makeup is not required. ,when she heard ,she told us that that day is fully booked, we have to come there again the day after on 9 AM. It was impossible for us as we have to check out early the next morning. We accepted because we couldn't do anything about it. In the evening, we showed the photo of the restaurant we wanted to go to the staff. We asked 2 staffs, and they said the completely different ways to get to the restaurant. One of them told us to take the shuttle bus, while another told us to walk to the restaurant. We tried to ask about the shuttle bus stops, but no one could tell us how the shuttle bus travel in the valley. In the end, we gave up and walk around the valley to eat the street food instead. The next morning, the breakfast starts at 7.30 AM, which was not 7 AM as the receptionist told us. We have to hurry because we have to take the high speed train at Shangrao at 11AM. The process of traveling back to the visitor center was very tiring, it took a very long time to communicate with the staff to take us back to the visitor center because no one can understand our English. All the time we communicate with the staffs, we have to use translator. At first the staff thought we wanted them to take us to the train station, which was not correct. In conclusion, this hotel is excellent only if you understand Chinese. The staffs have great service mind and tried to help us, but communication was really bad and time-consuming. The hotel should be more honest about the photo service that is included with the booking. Not recommend to people who cannot speak and understand Chinese.

GGuest UserDisappointing stay here. We had no choice but to extend our stay because it was Chinese new year and very difficult to find another place to stay and also my husband was sick so we had to change our plans and stay an extra night so he could rest.
The place smelled like smoke everywhere. We have a baby with us and wanted a smoke free place. Despite the signs in the lobby saying No Smoking, people were smoking there and the front desk people didn’t care. The towels in our room had ashes on them and smelled like smoke. They were also ripped and badly needed to be replaced. (We got a smoke free room and learned on our trip that all they do for smoke free rooms is open the windows to air it out before you arrive. 🤦🏻♀️)
There was insufficient toilet paper when we arrived and although they did provide more when we asked it was just inconvenient. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to find somewhere else to put the roll of toilet paper. The sink leaked and it was supposed to be a dry washroom which is one of the reasons why I booked the place but turned out to be a wet washroom. Incredibly inconvenient with a baby.
The shower drainage was missing a cover and it didn’t feel safe for my child when showering because her little feet could get stuck inside it.
One of the days we needed to rest a little longer and the housekeeper asked us when we were leaving so she could clean our room. We said we needed 2 more hours (around 2pm) she kept trying to peer inside our room and said she wanted to get off work early. I found that incredibly rude. I understand it’s CNY and you want to go home early but that’s not something you should say to a guest who paid to stay at the hotel. Front desk people also did not seem friendly. Never saw any of them smile. We obviously don’t speak Chinese fluently and they laughed at us when they couldn’t understand us and wasn’t helpful in any way.
Overall, not a very pleasant stay. Would not stay here again.
