The hotel was fine. For the price I would expect a little bit more and it was a little bit disappointing, that the owner first denied my cancelation of the last of three nights, even we talked about it. Only my chinese friend, who traveled with me, could clearify the situation by calling him. Room is clean and comfortable. We really appreciated, that he picked us up ones from the restaurant nearby and that owner drove us to the bus terminal, to go to the train station.

Nice clean room with recently refurbished facilities. Host promptly whisked us to and from the scenic area. Basic but satisfactory breakfast to set you up for a mornings travel. Would recommend

We stayed in a family suite, on the 3rd floor, with my husband and mother-in-law. The villa is in a beautiful location, right next to a little stream, and beautiful green rolling hills and mountains right next door. We enjoyed the roof-top balcony as we soaked in the calming, peaceful atmosphere of the surrounding greenery. The villa is beautiful and modern and clean. The owner is very welcoming and friendly and went out of his way to accommodate us. He drove us to the scenic area and picked us up afterward, for free. And he arranged a car-pooling service to take us back to Shangrao train station the next morning. He cooked us a lovely breakfast, which I offered to pay him for via Alipay. I wish we could have stayed longer. It was a quick trip from Shanghai, just one night, but it was worth it. If you are thinking about visiting, do it! And book this villa.
