Floral Hotel

I wanted to come to the beach with my friends to watch the sunrise. I found a nearby room for one night. I didn't report much hope for the experience. The result was unexpectedly good! The room was very clean and tidy, and it was very spacious and bright! The scenery outside the window is also very beautiful. The store also put a good smell in the room and I want to find the boss to link and want to buy a bottle to put at home! The attitude and service of the staff in the store are very good! They will try their best to meet what they need to say hello. All in all, this is a very comfortable and cost-effective housing experience!
Green E-sports Hotel (Shanghai Yanqiao Subway Station Wanda Plaza)

Shanghai Jiaotong University and Minhang Economica
The newly opened e-sports hotel has a good location and is very close to the subway station. The key is Wanda Plaza. It is very convenient for eating, shopping and entertainment. The front desk service attitude is very good. The computer configuration in the room is very high. You can play games if you want to play. The experience is very good, and there is free parking! The room decoration is also very good, I will recommend friends to come and continue to experience it next time.

Tianyingju Farmhouse

Chongming Island, Changxing Island, Hengsha Island
The proprietress is super nice, because the hospital is on duty, so the parents travel by themselves. My mother is a super pimple, saying that the room is clean and the food tastes good. The meal is not at the boss’s house, it’s next door, the boss’s neighbor. The amount is large and the taste is good. And the price is affordable. Towels and toiletries are not in the room, but in the disinfection oven downstairs. At first the parents didn't find it, but later I called the boss and asked what they knew. This is more hygienic than ordinary hotels.
Thank U Hotel (Yongjing road, Jiading District North subway station, Shanghai)
3.8/5123 Reviews
Jiading Industrial Zone
I have stayed at this hotel about seven or eight times. There was a man who had just been intern at the front desk and had to inked for a long time. This is not the point. The point is that the middle-aged woman's attitude is very annoying! Every time I urge people to check out, once I made a reservation and couldn't book the special room and went to the front desk to ask. He said that someone else checked out at a point and now there is no special room. Let me add money to a room with a normal price. Just add it. Then why did you call me at 11 o'clock and ask me to check out at 12 o'clock? I was speechless, the hotel was very clean, and the facilities were good, but the front desk was very annoying. Later, a new girl came, who made people feel pretty good. I stayed again, otherwise I just rushed to the previous one. Attitude will not continue to live!!
Honghai Zhuoyun Guesthouse
4.5/527 Reviews
Fengxian Development Zone
The hotel is very clean and the owner is very enthusiastic. It's also quite close to the entertainment wharf, and you can go to the sea after 10 minutes' walk. There don't seem to be many restaurants around, but it's very convenient for takeout. The breakfast time is a bit short, it ends at 9 o'clock, which is very inconvenient for people who sleep late, so we just wake up and order takeaway.

More about Shanghai

Shanghai: Where East Meets West

Shanghai, located on China's central coast, is the country's most populous city and one of the most vital financial hubs in the world. Shanghai's skyline, punctuated by the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower and the towering Shanghai Tower, paints a vivid picture of the city's impressive blend of traditional charm and modern flair.

Journeying to Shanghai

Shanghai's main international airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, offers numerous connections globally. Once there, you can reach downtown Shanghai using the Shanghai Maglev Train, buses, or taxis. For domestic travelers, high-speed trains offer an efficient means of travel.

The main mode of payment in China is usually through AliPay or WeChat Pay. Most places still accept credit and debit cards, but it's wise to carry some local currency (RMB) for smaller vendors. Mandarin is the official language, with Shanghainese also widely spoken. A translation app may come in handy when interacting with locals.

Attractions That Shine in Shanghai

Shanghai is brimming with must-see sights. Walk along the Bund to see colonial-era buildings against the backdrop of a modern skyline. Visit the tranquil Yuyuan Garden, an exquisite example of Ming Dynasty design. The Shanghai Museum hosts an extensive collection of Chinese historical artifacts, and the Shanghai Disney Resort promises fun for the entire family.

Shanghai's Seasons and Apparel

Shanghai has a humid subtropical climate. Summers (June-August) are hot and humid, while winters (December-February) can be quite cold. The best times to visit are autumn (September-November) and spring (March-May), when the weather is moderate. Pack a mix of lightweight and warm clothing to adjust to fluctuating temperatures in Shanghai.

Choosing Your Accommodation in Shanghai

Shanghai offers a wide variety of accommodations to meet diverse traveler needs. The Peninsula Shanghai, near the Bund, offers luxury and proximity to iconic sights. For foodies, The Puli Hotel and Spa is near numerous eateries in the Jing'an District. The budget-friendly Mingtown Etour Youth Hostel near People's Square offers comfort without the hefty price tag.
