Treasure Garden Hotel in Shanghai A week before coming to Shanghai, I did my homework at home and made a lot of choices. I chose this hotel online and booked two rooms. I was really surprised when I entered the hotel, with green grass, century-old camphor trees, beautiful villas, and the garden full of sweet-scented osmanthus. The room is so beautiful, the view outside the window is pleasant, there are flowers and welcome fruits. The bedding is of high quality, the mattress is comfortable, and the room is quiet and clean. There are free capsule coffee and Snickers bars. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes good. In the evening, it is very pleasant to take a walk in the garden. The hotel service was very warm and thoughtful. A handsome and elegant man wearing glasses drove us around the hotel park in a battery car. He was very funny and polite. He explained everything from the architectural history of the hotel to the encyclopedia knowledge of various plants in the park. I hope the hotel will give you praise! The breakfast restaurant and room service are good and very service-minded. It was a very happy stay experience. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Shanghai.

There was nothing great about this hotel except the location. The breakfast was so bad that me and my daughter did not even eat anything at all in breakfast from the buffet. They need to upgrade their bathroom amenities. It was so old. The staff was helpful though. Very cozy and nice cafes and bakeries around the street which made our stay easier.

It was nice to see that there's a small kitchen, but on the other hand, there was no refrigerator. (B's Service Apartment in the same building was a better value.) Also, on my second day, I was sick and a room cleaner opened the door and yelled in the room at 9:30 in the morning. What the hell??? I've had room service people knock on my door as early as 10:00 before. But I've never had one actually open my door, yell and wake me up. Come on, man.

The hotel has convenient transportation, just opposite to Exit 7 of Metro Line 2. It is very close to Raffles City Dragon Dream Plaza. It is also very convenient for eating and shopping. The room is clean and the sound insulation is OK. The most worth mentioning is the hotel service, which is really considerate. As soon as I arrived at the hotel with my luggage, the waiter downstairs came down to pick up my luggage, sent it to the lobby, and didn’t leave until it was delivered to my room. This was a great find. We stayed here with two adults and an 8 and 6 year old. Mostly we were impressed with the service and how quick the owner was to respond to our needs. We enjoyed the area and the 10 min walk to the subway passed a few good eateries though it was a little outside downtown. Warning! Don't try to take a cab during rush hour. Take the subway or walk it! Would definitely stay here again.

The only advantage of this hotel is that the transportation is convenient. Line 2 Zhongshan Park Station Exit 9 is out. It was also because of this hotel that clicked. But this hotel can't make people sleep comfortably at all. When I checked in on Friday, I felt that the quilt was tidal and there was a strong smell of disinfectant. I brought a sleeping bag and woke up all night because I was worried about touching the quilt. And the room is facing the street, and the sound of the car on the road is quite heavy. Saturday night was worse. There is a bar downstairs in the hotel. After I lay down at 11 o'clock in the evening, there was a constant sound of wine bottles thrown into the trash can, and there were more cars on Saturday night than on Friday. Until more than 2 o'clock, the sound of the wine bottle was basically gone, and I fell asleep. In short, I won't come again next time.
