There are shopping places all around, and dining is also very convenient. The hotel's hardware and environment are relatively good, and the lobby is very spacious. The air conditioner was started early and the room was very warm as soon as we entered. The room was clean and tidy. What is lacking is the training of service staff. They don't say hello when they see guests walking towards the front desk. The whole process was businesslike. There was no reminder as to whether or not a toothbrush was provided. When it was time to go to bed at night, I realized that there was no toothbrush. Then I put on my clothes and asked the waiter to bring them to me. The air conditioner made strange noises, so I had to turn it off to sleep.

We wanted to the Shanghai Circus World and therefore this is the best location. I also liked the Sauna. Finally a sauna with a higher temperature. In other places often the temperature of the sauna is only 55 or 60 degrees (for ”safety reasons”) like my recent visit to the Westin Changbaishan. In the Marriott it was high and there was an ice machine for cooling down. Very interesting experience.

The cute and chubby little brother at the front desk has a very good service attitude, and he also helped with late check-out, thank you very much 🙏; the room is located in the corner of the corridor, relatively quiet🤫, although the decoration is old, but it is very comfortable and clean, especially Pure white bathroom🚽, I love it so much😍. The TV shows are also very good, and the Internet 🛜 is also very fast. It's just that the clothes racks are a bit old and not easy to use. Do the 5-star guests steal clothes racks? The doormen are all good, they are very winky, and help with luggage🧳. Although the location of the hotel is remote, the downstairs is the Langao Road subway exit of Line 7, and the traffic is very convenient! The breakfast was great, I was impressed with the chocolate bread pudding 🍮 and pine nut yogurt, the egg rolls were also very tender, thanks to the waiter for the espresso ☕️, and finally complained about the swimming pool 🏊♀️, it was too small! A short walk from Shanghai Station although if you have lots of luggage get a taxi unless you’re happy to carry them over a pedestrian bridge to get to the hotel. Some good amenities nearby including Blue Frog Bar & a McDonald’s too…Lawson Convenient Store also close by. The staff at the Intercontinental are excellent and the breakfast buffet is extensive. Excellent facilities as you would expect. I would suggest a hotel nearer to central Jing’an to truly explore the delights of that part of Shanghai.

Great location walking distance from Shanghai railway station. Got there a few hours early but hotel allowed us to leave luggage there whilst we went for lunch. Lovely hotel, staff, breakfast etc.. Only downside is that the pool is 6th floor in next building so you have to come down, go past reception and lobby and take lift to the 6th floor there. The small jacuzzi was not available when we wanted to use it as it was safer with our 3 year old so had to go into the main pool but we felt like we were getting in the way as others were using it to do their length swimming. Also, to get to the pool you have to climb up some stairs and at the bottom what looks like a rubber grip flooring was full of cold water but it was clear so when i stepped into it with cloth sandals that the hotel gave us in the room, they got soaking wet and the water was freezing cold. There should be a sign there to say there is a pool of water (see picture attached) Other downside in the room is that the lighting system is very confusing - we had an executive suite and wanted to put our infant to sleep in the main room whilst we relaxed in the living room but if you wanted the lighting on in the living area you had to go to the bedroom to turn it on and the lights next to the front door were also confusing as there was no option to turn on the lights in the lounge area and if there was, it wasn’t stated hence why we say it was all very confusing.

The room is a standard business hotel, the lobby has hot tea and books, very warm. Parking is the most rare benefit. I have seen Shanghai's high parking fee for a few days of travel. Parking starts at 20 yuan per hour. It is really a magic capital. The hotel also has a washing machine and dryer. After the children's cotton jackets and down jackets are washed, the front desk lady also helped to put them in the washing machine room with plastic bags. Thank you very much! In a word, cost-effective!
