I have enjoyed my week long stay at this historical Shanghai hotel immensely. Not only was my room perfectly clean and amenities restocked reliably - important to have enough drinking water in Shanghai summertime - but the hotel was clearly proud of its heritage and doing well at preserving it in interior design as well as friendly and efficient service. I had afternoon tea with three friends and it was well worth having to reserve it three days in advance. The location is certainly very convenient with the metro station just across the street and exploring Nanjing Road and the Bund area on foot is also ideal from here.

The younger brother and sister at the front desk are warm and have a good attitude. Cleaning aunts is also better, clean and clean, and the environment is good. Convenient transportation, good location, 100 meters from the subway. It is very close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, the Bund, People's Square, Lujiazui and other attractions. Great, I will live next time.

The good things about this hotel - it’s directly across the street from a metro station, a park, and an art museum. The main shopping street is a quick five minute walk away. The building, lobby, and breakfast room all have a beautiful, vintage charm. The staff is polite and helpful. The breakfast isn’t elaborate, but the simple fare is enough to start the day with energy. The room for one person was comfortable and the bathroom was surprisingly big. The room they assigned me was tucked away a bit so at night it was really quiet. The things that need improvement - the carpet in the room was awful. It was dirty and felt crunchy. I don’t think a deep clean would improve the carpet. The carpet in the rooms needs to be completely changed. The bathroom shower head was also a bit outdated and the sink had separated from the bathroom counter. I think if these things were fixed, the hotel would be fantastic. As it stands, as a solo traveler this place was affordable and overall decent for the price. The location and friendly staff were the best features.

In the residential building, it is very close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and the Bund. It is OK to walk slowly. The landlord recovers quickly and is very careful.

A chain brand of youth hostels, this hotel has just opened recently, the overall area is not particularly large, it feels small but refined, the environment and facilities are very new, the location is excellent, and the surrounding transportation is very convenient for travel, dining and shopping. The two-person room with separate bathroom is well received. The interior space will be more spacious than the four-person room. It just opened and there is still some smell after renovation. It should be much better after a while.

This was one of my favorite stays in Shanghai. The cocktail bar on floor 47 has great atmosphere. The beds were soft and amenities great. I’ll bring my family next time. Great breakfast too. Located right next to main shopping street
