Orange Hotel (Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station)

There were bugs in the room, and I was bitten so badly that night, leaving red, itchy welts that just got worse the more I scratched. The bumps were red and swollen, and even after I checked out and went home, new ones kept appearing on my body. The hotel staff were very polite, but the hygiene was absolutely terrible.

This hotel, 'Juzi' (Orange), felt really upscale, much more luxurious than the one I stayed at previously. The floor I was on was massive; I would have definitely gotten lost without a map. There was even a garden in the middle! But the price was surprisingly similar to the last place.

The room was spacious and relatively quiet. It was also kept quite clean. I'll definitely choose Orange again next time.
