Perfect location, walking distance to main shopping area and attractions. Staffs are polite and helpful. The room is very clean and spacious. We loved it.

The best location of CBD areas, very convenient and walk score is great. Love room’s spaciousness and the views from the suite. One improvement would be showcasing more of the Shanghai local specialties into the breakfast menu? All in all, we enjoyed our stay as a small family 👍🏻👍🏻

Unfortunately my stay here was mediocre at best. At first, the hotel is a bit dated for the price point set. The rooms and the washrooms clearly show their age. Although the rooms are clean, I found a couple of hairs on the linen and my towels. However, these flaws can be justified by the hotels location which is very close to the Bund and the Nanjin Street. I could also see the TV tower from my window after opening it.

Stayed one night after spending 4 nights earlier part of my holiday. They allowed me to keep luggage with them while I was off to Hangzhou for 2 nights before returning. Had a little issue with a leaking tap and the service staff was there within 5 minutes of my call and resolve it in another 5 minutes.

The service from the front desk was shockingly bad. I had quite a few bags and they didn’t even offer to assist me, bringing my luggage in or taking my luggage up after a horrendous experience at the front desk for checkin. I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences in China what the staff at the hotel were extremely racist and when I asked to have a discussion with the manager, they started to laugh led at me and make fun of the fact that I wanted to speak with a manager. The manager was, however, was understanding and she says maybe the staff were having a bad day and perhaps that is why they were behaving in an  unacceptable racist matter, but she didi promise that she will address it. I think trip.com needs to look into this matter as it ruined my entire experience.

The location of this hotel is definitely a plus point. We are just a stone throw away from Nanjing Buxing Road. Love how convenient it is for us.
There’s this really good bao shop located near the hotel too. And we missed it so much!
Direction: Exit from the hotel main entrance, turn right. Follow the walking path. Along the way, you could grab a cuppa but do note that the cafe don’t accept cash, strictly by e-payment only. You’ll see the yellow signage (the Bao shop!) when you reach a cross junction. Just to be sure, Nanjing Buxing Rd is right across the street. ☺️
The hotel’s buffet breakfast spread was great too!
Apart from all of these, the only thing that we were disappointed in was the front desk staffs. They were pretty snobbish and ignorant. The hospitality were not up to par with how great the hotel was.
Amenities wise, do note that you have to pick it up from the front desk. Toothbrush/toothpaste set, vanity necessities (comb etc) have to be requested.

Good location... The only problem is we check in early April and the weather is 12-18°c... Inside the room was too warm and make us hard to breath because the Aircon is centralise we are not able to adjust. was told to open the window and the hotel staff send us a fan for better air circulation...overall is good... Thanks
