A Hidden Gem for Comfort and Convenience
I had a wonderful stay at Home Inn Selected and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, cleanliness, and great value. The room was thoughtfully designed—modern, tidy, and equipped with all the essentials, including a very comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile, making me feel truly welcome.
The location was ideal—close to public transport, dining spots, and convenience stores, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Despite being in a bustling location, the hotel maintained a calm and peaceful atmosphere perfect for resting after a long day.
If you’re looking for a reliable and well-kept hotel at a reasonable price, Home Inn Selected is an excellent choice. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Overall, I was happy with this budget hotel in Shanghai. Everything was good. The location was not bad—a 10-minute walk from the Metro. The staff were very nice and friendly, but they looked to be working too much. Give them a day off or two! Breakfast was fine; however, I did see a couple of ants hanging out around the sweets.

This hotel would be ok for budget travelers. I visited on a business trip and was not happy with the accommodations so I rebooked a different hotel down the road. It is very cheap and you get what you pay for. Did not look like the photos, room smelled of cigarette and it was very loud.

It's okay that I can't watch TV, but there was a power outage and it was only in our room! But they quickly changed our room.

The window said it had a view of the city, but there were almost no windows. The bathroom smelled of cigarettes. The door didn't lock. No one spoke English. There were no shops nearby to buy things.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with any request. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient.
The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. I also appreciated the attention to detail, such as the complimentary refreshments and high-quality toiletries.
The hotel’s facilities were outstanding – the swimming pool was clean and inviting, the fitness center was well-maintained, and the spa services were truly relaxing. The on-site restaurant offered a diverse menu with delicious, well-prepared dishes.
