The place were nice and clean, all the facilities provided were really good and we enjoyed our stay. Close with Nanjing road you can walk and it takes about 10mins only. Very quiet area not crowded. I love it!! would come again next time. Very recommended. Oh!! they also provide keep your luggage safely.

Great value hostel in a top location — a few honest tips for fellow travellers The location is absolutely spot-on — right in the heart of things, couldn't ask for better. The staff were brilliant: genuinely helpful and welcoming. They gave me a disposable towel and tissues free of charge, which normally costs ¥3 — a small gesture, but a kind one that made a difference. A few honest notes if you're coming from somewhere like Japan (as I was): manage your expectations on cleanliness. Japanese hostels spoil you — spotless rooms, no smells, the lot. China is different, and this place is no exception. The toilet had a bit of an odour, and the rooms could do with more regular ventilation. It's not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing. On the plus side: free drinking water to fill your bottle, paid laundry on-site, and that unbeatable central location. The rooms themselves are decent enough nothing flash, but perfectly fine for the price. Finding the place: Google Maps is patchy in China at best. I'd strongly recommend downloading Baidu Maps or Amap (高德地图) before you arrive — they're far more reliable here. If you do use Google Maps, cross-reference the address with the Chinese name 登巴客栈 (Dengba Hostel) to avoid ending up on the wrong side of town. Overall, a solid 4-star stay — perhaps I'm slightly biased coming straight from Japan, but for the price and location, it's a sound choice.

horrible!!! never seen a messier place in my life! absolutely not the same as was shown on the fotos. The bed capsuls are ok with clean linen and thick blanket (except that u have to make the bed yourself and the pillow-cases are all with holes - asked for the replacement, but the next one was still with 2 holes in it). Has a charger inside the capsule (no usb), small locker with E-lock, light and a curtain (too short). But the mastras is so thin - feels like u sleep just on the floor with all your body feeling sore. As for the common areas - they remind me the worst of bus station terminals or a warehouse where everything piled up without any sistem - dirty and with boxes and packs and other stange objects everywhere (the fotos on web lack those of cause). Maybe i was "lucky" with the roommates, but the room and the bathroom were so horribly dirty - with hair and trash all over the place. The bathroom has no hooks to hang things and the door has 2cm gaps on the perimeter - which gives u no privacy at all. "So-called kitchen" has only a microwave - no sink, no dishes, no fridge, no cups or spoons. Have only a cooler with hot/cold water, washing machine (for a fee) and shampoo in the bathroom. No towels, no slippers, no toilet paper (except the small pack of tissues they give u when u check in). In the morning after a clean up it looked a bit better, however the chemicals they use - stink like public toilet so it feels even worse after cleaning. The windows come out to the trashy rooftop. The price was twice as high than i paid in ChengDu but this place cannot be even remotely compared to the ChengDu hostel! Looks like the ratings on Trip.com are false - this place can have maximum of 6.5. And i know why the ratings are not correct - the girls on the reception asked me to write them "a positive review" just the moment i checked out. So i am giving them a "1" - to balance out the unfair positive reviews.

Located in one of the best locations of Shanghai only two blocks from the people Square where you can find many shops restaurants and malls take it to account this hotel is on the 4th floor so when you come in to the establishment go to the 4th floor really nice staff also 24-hour restaurants are in walking distance of the hotel 🏨🏢🚶

That's great atmosphere and very cheap if you lookinf for only sleep and you are solo traveler
