Hotel is new, close to a metro station. There are grocery stores and restaurants around, including many options within the metro station. Breakfast is Chinese but can be altered to become 白人菜 😄. Seems like not many foreigners stay here and staff does not speak English, but we managed to comunicate well via translation apps. Rooms are cleaned daily, bottled water is provided. Wifi is great. Everyone is polite and welcoming and they catered to all our needs. P.S. Special thanks to the lady working in the kitchen, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She is awesome!

I stayed at Sushi Zhixuan Hotel for three days. Let me briefly talk about my experience. First of all, I want to praise Sister Zhang at the front desk. When I went to check in, Miss Zhang at the front desk enthusiastically reminded me of the precautions. On the first night I stayed in a triple room with a mezzanine. The temperature on the second floor was comfortable, but the temperature on the first floor was slightly lower and there was a slight air leak in the window. After explaining the situation to the front desk the next day, I immediately called a maintenance technician to repair it and gave us a report on the air leakage. We upgraded to a suite for free. This is the first time I have encountered such a service. I really feel warm in my heart. Secondly, let me talk about the location of the hotel. The hotel is located at the intersection of Siping Road and Ouyang Road, very close to Lu Xun Park. , you can go there on foot. If you want to go to the Bund, Oriental Pearl Tower and other scenic spots, you can take the bus or subway. There is a bus stop downstairs, and the subway can be reached in just two steps, which is very convenient; finally, let’s talk about the hotel The style of the hotel is Chinese style. The overall decoration is simple, simple, grand and solemn. The hotel is equipped with restaurants, gyms, reading rooms and other facilities. All equipment is available. There is a supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient if you want to buy some things. It was great to stay here for three days. I will choose this hotel again if I have the opportunity to come back to Shanghai in the future. The overall five-star rating is positive. Friends who come to Shanghai for travel will highly recommend this hotel.

It’s a hotel with a good accommodation experience. The entrance is bright and warm, the room is clean and comfortable, the front desk and service staff are very polite, and there are robots that can help deliver meals. Although there is construction nearby, there is no noise at all. I like it very much when I stay here for the first time. Great hotel, will come again! ! !

The hotel is in a great location its easy to travel to most popular places in the city. We biked most of our trip and arrived within 15 mins. The staff were nice and the breakfast selection was large. The hotel room is filled with carpet and had a bit of a wet smell(like it did not dry properly) on the first night the next day it was gone oddly enough. there is a pool and gym available which is a nice touch. I would say it’s pretty great for the price.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is opposite the shopping mall and there are many restaurants in the stadium. It is close to the light rail. Fortunately, the sound insulation is not bad. Huazhu's hotels are always reassuring in terms of hygiene. The girl at the front desk, Xiao Zhang, made a good impression and had a friendly smile.

The room and health are basically satisfactory, and the front desk service of check in is also very patient and thoughtful. But I am not satisfied with the front desk service on the evening shift on November 26. I had something to go home that night, because my mobile phone is an American mobile phone, I can't use the car service, I asked the front desk girl on duty to help me call a car, they said that there is no such service, the guests must call the car by themselves, I said my mobile phone can not be used, or not. I remember that the hotel indicated that there is a car service on Trip.com. Please explain this matter to the hotel. Fortunately, a boy with glasses in the luggage department next to the front desk who spoke Shanghainese took the initiative to come up and told me that he could use his own mobile phone to call the car, and quickly called me to the car. He also took the initiative to help me move all the luggage to the car. He was warm and sincere. It is a stark contrast to the service attitude at the front desk. If the hotel staff can serve politely like him, I believe there will be more repeat customers. Remember this gentleman's surname Wu, maybe I remembered it wrong, like him. Because I am also from Shanghai, I communicated with him in Shanghai dialect throughout the whole process. Please convey my thanks again.

Journeying to Shanghai

Shanghai's main international airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, offers numerous connections globally. Once there, you can reach downtown Shanghai using the Shanghai Maglev Train, buses, or taxis. For domestic travelers, high-speed trains offer an efficient means of travel.

The main mode of payment in China is usually through AliPay or WeChat Pay. Most places still accept credit and debit cards, but it's wise to carry some local currency (RMB) for smaller vendors. Mandarin is the official language, with Shanghainese also widely spoken. A translation app may come in handy when interacting with locals.

Shanghai's Seasons and Apparel

Shanghai has a humid subtropical climate. Summers (June-August) are hot and humid, while winters (December-February) can be quite cold. The best times to visit are autumn (September-November) and spring (March-May), when the weather is moderate. Pack a mix of lightweight and warm clothing to adjust to fluctuating temperatures in Shanghai.
