Fantastic Stay Experience!
I had a truly satisfying experience staying in the comfortable twin room at GreenTree Inn (Shanghai Hongqiao Hub Huaxiang Road Store). The hotel boasts a very accessible location with excellent transportation links, making it an ideal choice for travelers needing to catch high-speed trains or flights.
The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Check-in was swift and efficient, making me feel welcome and at home from the moment I arrived. The room itself was clean and tidy, featuring soft and comfortable bedding. The twin beds were very spacious, ensuring a truly restful sleep. The facilities were comprehensive: the air conditioning worked perfectly, there was plenty of hot water, and the Wi-Fi signal was stable – perfectly meeting all my business and leisure needs.
The hotel environment was quiet, with good soundproofing, which allowed me to have a peaceful night's sleep. Dining and shopping options nearby were also very convenient. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Shanghai and will highly recommend it to friends. It offers truly excellent value for money!

Booked for two nights and felt it was good value for money. There is a robot at the front desk, and takeaways can be delivered to the door. Things are delivered promptly when asked by the front desk, and the room is also very clean, worthy of Green.
I think i was the first international traveler staying at this hotel, my pinyin is very basic, but with translation apps we could figure each other out. Just make sure with checkout you do not pay extra, because i already paid for everything including 12 nights , extra breakfast for 12 nights at arrival, the taxes and fee by check in with cash. Ask for a receipt note if possible. In China there is always everyday someone else at the receptionist. So there can be confusion.
Toilet after 5 sheets, you must flush otherwise it will get clogged.
noisy thin walls, but what hotels don't have thin walls, i could sleep well enough.
I would skip the breakfast, it was more basic chinese food and almost everyday the same. I would suggest to give the chef more budget to buy some fruit, because i have only seen 1 time fruit. As a international traveler and for the local travelers including childeren we all like to have a fresh healthy breakfast, we all are willing to pay more for breakfast if the chef can have more passion instead of riceporridge, egg, dry bread, steamed bun, dumpling, vegetable bun, stirfry vegetable etc.
I know for 15 yuan breakfast you cannot exept too much, shanghai is expensive. I am pretty sure that almost everyone is willing to pay 5 yuan more so that even for once we can see some fresh baked potato's or some stir fried rice.
Everyone is friendly, but you need to know basic pinyin. I got a nice big hard bed that is good for your back with small window and big led tv including own bathroom.
Its very clean. The hotels bed sheets replace once 2 to 3 days, this a good thing, because its better for the nature and saves water usage, energy and detergent.
This hotel is better than a hostel, its somewhere between a high star hotel and a normal hotel. For solo travelers with basic pinyin i would recommend this hotel, but make sure you make picture of the cash payment and ask for a receipt note etc.
The cleanliness was decent and pretty standard, as you'd expect from most hotels.
Facilities: The AC, heating, and TV all worked fine.
Environment: I didn't stay in a street-facing room, but I heard those rooms can be quite noisy. The front desk does provide earplugs, so that might mitigate the issue for those on that side.
Undoubtedly, the biggest drawback of this hotel was the mosquitoes in the bathroom. I stayed for a week on a business trip. The first couple of days were fine, but then something changed in the following days – perhaps it was due to heavy rain or another unknown factor. Every time I went to the bathroom, there was a foul smell emanating from the drain, and it was swarming with tiny mosquitoes. They were so numerous, a dense swarm. I literally had to spray water for a good while to clear them out before I could even get into the shower.
If I hadn't been so swamped with work, I would have wanted to check out by the third day. Everything else was tolerable, especially considering the price point of just over 200, which sets realistic expectations.

The hotel has convenient parking. The lobby is large and the front desk service is good. Check-in is quick. They offered to change us to a larger room. The interior is clean and fully equipped. The toilets are separated from wet and dry and the room is intelligently controlled. It's a very good experience! ! !
A friend came to Shanghai and stayed here. The surrounding supporting facilities are complete, and multiple bus lines are very convenient to Nanjing Road, Yuyuan Garden, and Pudong. Not far away are Metro Line 4, Line 8 and Line 9. Hospitals, breakfast shops, bakeries, etc. Although the hotel has been open for a few years, the rooms are still clean, and supporting products: shampoo, drinking water, hair dryers, etc. are available. It is a more suitable place for traveling.

This stay was a great experience! From the moment I checked in at the front desk, I could feel the enthusiasm and professionalism of the staff. They not only patiently answered questions, but also introduced the surrounding food and travel guides. The sanitation of the guest rooms is perfect, the sheets and quilts are white as new, the floor is spotless, the toiletries are neatly arranged, and there is no dust even in the corners. The details are very attentive. Every day, the cleaning staff will clean the room on time, change towels and replenish supplies to keep the room clean.
The service is impeccable. The staff will respond quickly and gently to any questions. This stay made me feel very warm. I strongly recommend this hotel. It is definitely worth coming again!

AAnonymous UserSee a doctor in the Ninth Hospital, in order to take the subway and see a doctor convenient, stay here for two nights.
Facilities: The price is relatively cheap, more than 220 nights. But this room is not very satisfactory. It is a room with a window, but it is a room with stairs outside the window. This room should be in the room of 189 in the aisle. Because the stairs are taken outside the window, and it is a simple iron stairs, people often walk up and down. The lower half of the window has a frosting effect, and the top is transparent. People should be able to see the room completely when they walk down with it. They dare not open the curtains at all. The windows are useless.
The room is small in size, there is a bedside table on one side, and the side that is not convenient.
The toilet is quite big, the toilet seat is crooked, and the shower room seal is broken.
Service: Staying for two nights, in fact, you don't need to deal with all toiletries and slippers, it's a bit wasteful. And I threw away the toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and did not add new ones.
AAnonymous UserThe worst room I've stayed in, the last one on the whole floor, the air conditioner was not warm at 30 degrees, it was noisy, the TV was very small, the front desk forgot to give me a toothbrush and comb, it was the sixth day of the Chinese New Year, please forgive me, usually the stay is super good

MM275594****The hotel parking is very convenient, no parking troubles, there are many places to eat downstairs, eating is very convenient, the hotel is a bit old, all the decoration style is old
DDorisl0The hotel chain has guaranteed service and a good attitude. It is closer to Hongqiao T1 and it takes about 8 minutes by taxi to Hongqiao T2. It is recommended to book a taxi in advance for particularly early flights. Overall it's good, suitable for transfers and early and late flights, and it's convenient to eat at the hotel entrance!

AAnonymous UserFor the business standard room booked, the hotel only gives one room card. I think it is more convenient for two people to have one room card. The hotel said that they need a deposit of 50 yuan. This additional charge really makes people feel uncomfortable, and the front desk speaks very bluntly. There is only one pillow on the bed in the room. I called to add another pillow, saying that the hotel cannot add another pillow when the room is full. Then we have to fix one pillow for each bed, the front desk replied: Yes, this is what our hotel is like. Let her think of a way, so she shirks, but she can't find it, there is no way, it can only be like this.
