Shanghai Cunshangchunsu Homestay
5/513 Reviews
Chongming Island, Changxing Island, Hengsha Island
I took my daughter to watch the first show of the Flower Expo. I happened to live in this homestay. I was very satisfied. The owner was very foreign. The furniture and appliances of the homestay are very good. I can see that the owner is thinking about it. He likes the big terrace very much. Looking at the stars and smelling With the fresh air in the country and the troubles of the city, my daughter is reluctant to go back to Shanghai. By the way, the lighting and fountain show at the Flower Fair are very beautiful!
Vienna 3 Good Hotel (Shanghai Chenjiazhen Branch)
4.6/5150 Reviews
Chongming Island, Changxing Island, Hengsha Island
The hotel has been newly renovated and only opened for two months. Everything is quite new. The room is large and the bed is very comfortable. It is the first night on the third floor of the first floor. The banquet decoration starts at 7 am. All kinds of noise, noisy **, just behind. I really like this hotel, the service is good, and a packed breakfast is also provided. Will come to live in the future. The hotel is very cost-effective, I hope the price will not be too expensive in the future.
Uncle Hai‘s Farm
4.7/561 Reviews
Chongming Island, Changxing Island, Hengsha Island
First of all, let me explain: Uncle Hai is the son of the shop owner, not the shop owner’s uncle. Facilities: It is quite in line with price expectations. Environment: Each room is very large and the room is very spacious. Service: Auntie and Uncle are very polite. They sell cigarettes, wine and drinks in the store, which is very convenient and reasonably priced. It is said that camping and barbecue will be expanded in the summer, so we will check it out then.
Donglai Manor Hotel
4.8/5174 Reviews
Chongming Island, Changxing Island, Hengsha Island
The order placed on Ctrip was found quickly according to the navigation. When I walked in, there was a large forest and the air was very good. I heard that a parent-child park is under construction. I will bring my children to play again. The area of the manor is also very large. One day, the room was very clean, the environment was quiet, the service was very good, and the restaurant’s specialties were very delicious. Definitely come again next time
Shanghai Huapan Homestay
4.8/51 Reviews
Chongming Island, Changxing Island, Hengsha Island
The homestay is close to nature, living in the city for a long time, and changing the environment to change the mood. The equipment in the house is complete, the lawn and slides are at the door of the house, close to the forest park, and the accommodation is quite comfortable. The environment is also very clean
Shanghai Huabo Yingju Villa
4.7/553 Reviews
Chongming Island, Changxing Island, Hengsha Island
The entrance is on Gangdong Highway, the road is not big, be careful not to miss it, the positioning in the housekeeper group is very accurate, and it is easy to find the house number. The villa as a whole is very new, clean and tidy, which is better than the various villas I have lived in before. The housekeeper is very nice, always on call and responsive. The entertainment facilities are rich, and the big friends have a good time. The chef cooked a table of dishes by himself, which was not easy given the limited kitchen conditions. One car can be parked in the garage and three can be parked in front of the villa. Will consider staying next time.

Shanghai, located on China's central coast, is the country's most populous city and one of the most vital financial hubs in the world. Shanghai's skyline, punctuated by the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower and the towering Shanghai Tower, paints a vivid picture of the city's impressive blend of traditional charm and modern flair.

Journeying to Shanghai

Shanghai's main international airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, offers numerous connections globally. Once there, you can reach downtown Shanghai using the Shanghai Maglev Train, buses, or taxis. For domestic travelers, high-speed trains offer an efficient means of travel.

The main mode of payment in China is usually through AliPay or WeChat Pay. Most places still accept credit and debit cards, but it's wise to carry some local currency (RMB) for smaller vendors. Mandarin is the official language, with Shanghainese also widely spoken. A translation app may come in handy when interacting with locals.

Attractions That Shine in Shanghai

Shanghai is brimming with must-see sights. Walk along the Bund to see colonial-era buildings against the backdrop of a modern skyline. Visit the tranquil Yuyuan Garden, an exquisite example of Ming Dynasty design. The Shanghai Museum hosts an extensive collection of Chinese historical artifacts, and the Shanghai Disney Resort promises fun for the entire family.

Shanghai's Seasons and Apparel

Shanghai has a humid subtropical climate. Summers (June-August) are hot and humid, while winters (December-February) can be quite cold. The best times to visit are autumn (September-November) and spring (March-May), when the weather is moderate. Pack a mix of lightweight and warm clothing to adjust to fluctuating temperatures in Shanghai.
