I was traveling alone with my 7 year old daughter and stayed here for one night. We loved all the help we got. All the amenities were very convenient for us and all the staff was very helpful. Selene offered my daughter some treats upon arrival and some gifts when we left as well as offered suggestions on where to eat that would be most comfortable for my daughter. The original Haiou Hotel was demolished and rebuilt, while retaining some of the original valuable elements. The location is extremely good. The price of an ordinary room of nearly 4,000 yuan, at least half of it is paid for the C position on the North Bund. The artwork and material design details all reflect the highest level of CCD design, and the old money style and flower themes are in line with the current popularity. A lobby bar (without a view), a Chinese restaurant and an all-day restaurant (with panoramic views of the Bund and both sides of the Huangpu River). The all-day dining restaurant's offerings are half genuine, and the special breakfast configuration is worth the price. The all-day dining restaurant and banquet hall terraces have direct access to the Bund (access with room card), which is really amazing. The room design and equipment are all high-end, but the space is too small, and the overall experience is narrow. The positioning of a top luxury hotel, the space ratio is a bit unmatched, but the waiter also said that it is limited by the location, space and floor height. It all requires making some sacrifices. The use of green in the room is great, fresh and comfortable. The hotel is still in the trial operation stage, so I saw that many places are still being debugged and repaired when it is not busy.

I booked 4 nights in Dec2023. As it was winter, the entire hotel's aircon cooling system was turned off and switched to heating mode. There is no cooling mode in all the rooms. We were unfamiliar with the aircon settings and this resulted in our room becoming hot as a sauna. We slept on top of our blankets and were drenched in sweat in the middle of the night. Luckily for the 24 hours front desk, we called for help at 2am. They were cheerful and responsive and even sent someone up to our room and brought us a fan to circulate the air. And when an empty room was available the next day, they gave us an upgrade to a larger room with a much better air circulation. Despite paying only a fraction of the price of a big brand hotel (like Hyatt, Marriott or ), the service we received at JinJiang is on par or better. All the staff speak English and are attentive and eager to please. If things go wrong, let them know and give them a chance to rectify. I highly recommend this hotel for the excellent location and impeccable service. Thank you JinJiang Metropolo hotel for making my stay in Shanghai so enjoyable despite having almost no sleep the first two nights. Good budget hotel near the city center. It is very walkable distance few hundred meters to the Bund. The hotel has 7 floors with restaurant at the top. Hotel it self located in historical buildings but well renovated to modern design. It has nice tea kind of smell/ fragrance. From top of the restaurant you can see some parts of the view which is nice. The room small but adequate plus clean. There are free laundry and dryer for you to use. All in all location is perfect, cheap accommodation, breakfast is ok in sense they have something chinese and western menu.

The first time I stayed in the Youth Hostel, the experience was very good. Very close to the Bund, the location is not said. The room is very clean. I can change the sheets and quilts by myself. A whole row is storage! There are also many storage cabinets in the room! There are also under the bed! Then I was lucky to meet the girls very well, going to bed early and not disturbing each other. Overall, the hotel was a really nice place to stay at. Clean rooms (despite some mold in the shower), comfortable beds, spacious area and accommodating front staff. The location is also ideal. However, we were really disappointed by the breakfast: There is no buffet, but rather they know at your door at 7.30am and hand you a lunch box (if you don’t open the door, you’ll miss out). They prepare the bare minimum, we each good one cherry tomato, a slice of soft toast bread and an egg. As for coffee, you have to get it in a paper cup at the reception area. Generally though a good stay.

Ji hotel has great location, right beside daimaru dept store and hongyi plaza. Walking distance to the bund. We stayed at family room (1 double + 1 single). Room is cleaned daily but only the floor, the bed isn’t made at all during our 4 night stay. They only clean the floor and replace towel. Hotel is non smoking but you can clearly smell cigarette smell in the hallway and bathroom. I suspect people upstairs or downstairs smoke in the bathroom. Free laundry in the first floor. Lack of basic amenities (toothbrush must ask the receptionist). Receptionists know little to no English, some are not very friendly.

Great experience! The location is within walking distance to the bund and nanjing pedestrian street. Everywhere is easy to access by taxi. The service was fantastic and staff were all very welcoming and friendly. We requested to change rooms for more space which were happy to assist us with. Breakfast was great with many options. You can easily order food online and they have a little robot that delivers it to you room. There is a small gym and laundry service as well. You simply drop off your clothes and they can wash and dry, and fold it for you. Very responsive staff. Highly recommend. We would definitely stay here again.
