Acajou Beach Resort

We stayed last week at Acajou Resort Hotel and we were very satisfied. My aunt already stayed at Acajou few years ago and recommended it. Perfect location to explore the Island by car or bus. The property is well maintained and very green with lush vegetation. It is located directly on the beach. The sea was a bit rough during our stay but the swimming pool with plenty of space and many beach chairs was a perfect way to relax, too. We stayed in the front part of the resort (yellow buildings which looked more recent) in a superior room which had a large size and was comfortable (from our understanding, standard rooms seem to be in wooden-style buildings which looked older). The breakfast and dinner buffets were both very good and fresh and we had the opportunity to greet the Cook everyday. The staff was very professional, always smiling and greeting guests and always eager to help for a perfect stay. On Tuesday, we had the opportunity to attend the General Manager’s party at the pool bar with Seychelles music and a dance show. It was a great way to socialize with other guests in a relaxed atmosphere. During our stay a gifted local musician also played music hits with a Seychelles flavor during dinners. I highly recommend this hotel. It is a family managed hotel and you can feel the difference !
Coco de Mer Hotel and Black Parrot Suites

Excellent hotel, clean and spacious rooms, enough space for various activities. The food is delicious, the prices are similar to other restaurants/hotels in Seychelles. What is highly commendable is the staff, kind, always willing to help you, especially Ahmed, a young guy who has a solution to every problem🙂 The whole experience at this hotel was 5+
Chez Bea Luxury Villa

We stayed here for 5 nights in half-pension treatment (breakfast+ dinner), we were very good. At our arrival PJ, a Filipino boy who works at Chez Bea (practically manages everything), came to pick us up at the airport with our rental car. The hotel has been a very good day and we have been quick to take a drink and have been quick to take a check in and rent a car. In a few hours PJ had already brought us a replacement car, and our room was large and spacious. Breakfast is served directly at the table and includes a fruit table, bread toasted with butter and marmalades and some salty pity. When PJ realized that we don't eat salted food in the morning, it put more bread or bricks than other guests. The dinner, always cooked by PJ, was all delicious, every evening changed patience and he was also very careful to our needs. The last two nights we asked if we could have fish and he went to pick up the fresh day fish and cooked us two wonderful fish. I will remember his salad with marine fish forever, DA VOLAR VIA!!! The swimming pool is very nice, not very large but excellent for a last bathroom from the beach. The hotel was very clean and there were very dirty mats in the room. It is excellent in the central position from which both sides of the island are easily reachable.

When I arrived at the hotel I couldn’t find a door that was open so I knocked and still got no response. Finally I called and the owner told me to wait and he would be there in 15 minutes. I do not think my phone called him again as it did not show any signs of a call, but he called me back. He yelled, “I told you I’d be there in 15 minutes! Just wait.” I responded that I understood, that I hadn’t intended to call him, and I will wait. He is very rude! The hotel is very small. It is fairly clean. I’d say the one thing it has going for it is that almost everything is the same color blue, and it looks pretty good. The bed was very hard, and very uncomfortable. The bathroom is bigger and roomier than the bedroom, and I had trouble finding the light switch, (it’s in the hall by the bed). They bragged about the morning meal, but it starts very early and you have to get there early, and it’s very small. I would say overall this is a very unpleasant place to stay. I got very little sleep.
Rising Sun Guesthouse

We absolutely love this beautiful and charming guest house for so many reasons I would love to share with you. In first place, the cleanliness and comfort levels were outstanding. Secondly, it is located around 10 minutes away by foot from the ferry station which makes it very convenient for carrying the bags (there is only 1 taxi in the whole island :) Additionally, when we were leaving they helped us to carry our luggage back to the ferry station, showing a strong sense of kindness and going the extra-mile. I would also like to mention the serenity of the place, full of nature, surrounded by hens and chicks. Furthermore, they served a delicious organic breakfast with home-made food (they varied the menu every day depending on the availability of fresh products). I would definitely come back to this gorgeous island and I will choose again this guest-house. Thanks guys for your hospitality, keep up the excellent work and hope to see you soon! 🫶🏽
