Grand Hotel Villa Balbi

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the exquisite Grand Hotel Villa Balbi in Sestri Levante. It was an experience I will never forget. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning location and unparalleled hospitality this luxurious hotel offered. The hotel is in a magnificent historical villa, surrounded by lush gardens and overlooking the spectacular Ligurian Sea. The breathtaking views of the sea and the picturesque town of Sestri Levante made my stay even more memorable. Upon arrival, I was greeted by friendly and professional staff, attentive to my every need throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth and efficient. My room was delightful, with a plush, comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with a rain shower. The room was immaculately clean, and the housekeeping staff went above and beyond to ensure it remained so during my stay. Breakfast was a lavish spread of freshly baked pastries, local cheeses, and various fruits and cereals, providing the perfect start to my day. I took advantage of the hotel's beautiful outdoor pool area. The pool area featured comfortable loungers, allowing for relaxing and soaking up the Mediterranean sun. The true highlight of my stay, however, was the exceptional service provided by the Grand Hotel Villa Balbi staff. They were always friendly, courteous, and eager to assist, making me feel at home. Their professionalism and attention to detail were commendable and contributed significantly to my overall experience. My stay at the Grand Hotel Villa Balbi in Sestri Levante was an unforgettable experience that exceeded my expectations. The stunning location, luxurious accommodations, and exceptional service create a magical and memorable getaway. This hotel was booked as part of a tour. It was an excellent location, the room was very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. I would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

To stay at Villa Balbi is to be a part of living history. It’s wonderful! Architecture, furniture, paintings, sculptures. It’s incredible! You feel you are Ligurian aristocracy for just a few days of your life. Such a treat!

Staff were friendly and helpful getting up the 2 flights of stairs. Easy check in. Bath was across hall but we managed. Staff helped with arranging taxis. Large lounge area with full kitchen and nice sitting area to relax after a day of walking.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was professional, friendly, and hospitable. While a bit dated it is refreshingly elegant. Sometimes it seemed like a ‘ Downton Abbey experience. Breakfast was quite lovely. I would love to return to this hotel!

Grand Hotel Villa Balbi is located in the historical paret of the city. Very nice staff! Beakfast in the garden is a must!! The best beach is the public beach in the bay located in the old historical part of Sestri Levante. Hikes in the hills are recommended.

Fabulous hotel, friendly staff, very helpful, beautiful surroundings, sestri levante a lovely little place and so handy for all we wanted to visit. Breakfast was brilliant and having the late times was fabulous when you wanted a lie in!!

Had a lovely stay here - staff were v friendly. Hotel was beautiful, very ornate and felt v grande. Breakfast was lovely in beautiful setting. Set right on the seafront with cafes and restaurants v close by.
